You could also bet the strongest favorite you could find to win.....a horse that is 2-5 or 1-2. You would have about a 70 percent chance of winning that, and if 1-2, your 25 cents would win you 12-13 cents.

ColdBeerHere, Sanka, Astros148, Vaughany, Stumpage and everyone else who wants to portray me as a penniless bum. The subtext to this is it is becoming very difficult for me to make any deposits thanks to a new crusade against online gambling being made by philistines in my state.

Also, given the means of payment available i can only get a seat at the table after making a $100 deposit, which typically costs me $115.

There's a difference between 3 cents and $115. If 5Dimes had just given me the 3 cents i would be busted already and looking for another seat at the table. however, i'm just not inclined to do that at this time.

I don't think this is a smart business practice for them which is the point of the thread.
