If he does die, it won't be by a plane crash. 9/11 pretty much took that option off the table permanently and the show is airing pretty close to the anniversary, so that is definitely out.
I think the character probably does not die, as the show won't want to dwell on his absence and any kind of death lends to dwelling. If he does die, my money would be on suicide or drug overdose as both are "message worthy" and Hollywood loves that, but neither is an option currently.

The show has been over exposed as it is. People will tune in for the first few episodes, it won't be the same and it'll take a dive in the ratings. Charlie will then feel vindicated and he'll celebrate by od'ing and dying in a pool of piss and shit mixed with tiger blood. The word "Winning" will be written in shit on the wall.Comment -

the issue is not funny vs not-funny...the issue is your requesting and only accepting very specific suggestions-
plane crash is comedy? getting shot in a crime of passion is comedy? these events are not comedy by themselves- theres not that much funny about dying. the darwin awards interest me as much as they interest the next guy,
but youre now accepting only specific and 'creative' scenarios which have way smaller chances of coming into fruition.
scam is a strong word, and youre the bookmaker so i suppose you should be trying to give players a lower chance to win so its not really a scam.
and i know nobody Has To bet it, but it would be fun to have more options and especially on such an obscure event for which youre actively requesting suggestions; that is really the single thing that sets 5dimes apart from the rest of the books (more options). even if you made less specific options lower odds- i was just saying you should put ways that are actually semi-likely aswell.
