But gambling is recreational for me...END OF STORY.
I'm not in this to make a career......just a form of entertainment.
I enjoy watching lines, looking for weak numbers and trying to beat the closer.....although my skills are probably 1/10th of what nicky, fish or mathy's are. I'm sure I could improve, but that would require much more time, and because it's a recreational hobby, I don't invest it. I'm more then happy having some action, winning at around 50-55%...sometimes turning a small profit..sometimes breaking even...sometimes even losing a bit.
I lack the patience of the big boys here, I enjoy wagering on the ESPN game as Nicky mentioned and I chase and try to justify my picks when things are going sour. Because I have a full time purchasing job, a wife, friends and family....gambling will always be at the back of the line...and the reason I will never make it big.

Brock , as always I am rooting for you but... think you have to reexamine your betting patterns. I wait days or weeks between plays. If that is not achievable,it is going to be damn near impossible to fix .
For me, losing long term is not an option. As a result,I take a lot of the "fun" out of betting . The fun is in the profit from one season to the next.Can not play the popular T.V. game just because.That's when it becomes entertainment.And that costs money whether it's bowling, the movies,or the Sunday night game.
