Past 8 sessions where the S&p lost 1% buyers came in the next day (dead cat bounce) if we break the 200 day watch out.

Walker are you trying to bankrupt people? BkofAma has billions and billions of dollars worth of toxic assests that have yet to be repurchased which add up to almost double of BkofAma's net worth. Meaning they can and most likely will go bankrupt. They played a major part in the mortgage fraud scheme and have not even sized up their complete risk exposure yet because they know if they do that their entire corporation will collapse people would sell whats left of their worthless stock until that fraud of a bank crumbles into dust like they deserve. http://www.businessinsider.com/bank-...report-2010-10

Damn straight homie!! People must realize that purchasing power will always reside in the true definition of money. Gold and silver have lasted thousands of years. If you want to make a bet, bet on silver and agriculture. Done and Done.

the normal august 10 calls expire on aug 20th and are still bid at .19 with the stock down to 9.62, the weekly's are down to .03 making your trade down 80% in 2 days!
I think he meant 10 as the strike.

BAC was actually up yesterday but tucked tail and went south with the rest of the market today. I picked up some SPY calls near the close but its definitely a knife catching act in here.

In regards to Corn. How does removing a fukk ton of Corn from the equation to make an inefficient and very dirty fuel factor in? I assume it is already priced in. What if Ethanol subsidies dry up?
Been hearing that for the past 1-99 months from the corn bears .............
We are extremely pleased with our positions, those presently, and those of the past.......................it's been a really fun ride.
I doubt that I will ever sink another dollar into the corrupt stock market........to many other areas more mouthwatering and can't see this changing within the next few years, or forever in my lifetime for that matter.
Emily, congrats on the 401k cashout.........brilliant move.

I predict a meltdown coming. There is nothing to leverage... or to hang on to... I never understood how the DOW got this high? I refuse to invest in the stock market... when Obama is out... then I'll get back in.

Shotter i think the problem is a little deeper and endemic than a simple change of leadership (see bush jnr and his last 12months for proof of this)....If only it were that simple...

Tomorrow's hot stock of the day is IDCC. This thing has doubled in price in the last 3 days on news that Samsung, Google and Apple are all in a bidding war for this company. It could hit $100 a share by Friday.

Come talk to me just before Obama leaves office. We'll see if the DOW is up or not. Everything is inflated... BS if it isn't... watch the chair pulled out from under you shortly.

I'm sticking to my theory. I may make some big cash with sports wagering... but... I'm a conservative when it comes to Wall Street. Take a look around you people... don't get sucked in by PUBLIC FLOW. The DOW will collapse 800 points in one day... I promise you it will.

maybe I am wrong but I am now bullish on the market
I do not own usa stocks but if you look at the dow components I dont see any bad - overpriced companies there
and frankly if you price the market in relation to other markets on their respective currencies the market has dropped already precipitously

Shotter i dont doubt that and agree that the market is way too over inflated when compared to current economic conditions, im just saying that saying that Obama being out of office is gonna somehow wave a magic wand that will make things better as u were incling towards in post #91 just isnt reality...GL whatever u decide pal

As a person living day to day I don't care. What good is gold at 5K when 5K is meaningless. Dollars, what dollars?
We will all be better off once this meltdown is over. We won't be right until we overtake the goverment & the secret societies.

I will repeat from the other day: The more the bogus nature of this crappy debt deal is realized, the more the market is going to tank. Then there will be another round of quantitative easing, which is yet another AWFUL idea but it will cause the market to jump. A lot of money to be made when that happens.
