Cashed out around 15k lifetime (all fairly recently, been gambling for 6 years, 2-3 years seriously), currently have about 25k more scattered over various books online. And I have deposited a grand total of $50 into books over the last 4 years combined, for BTP last year, that is it. Deposited maybe $200 or so total into books in my lifetime.

Depressing
Probably down about 15k...easily half that came in 2010 and I've been gun shy since. No confidence to win long term.

I think the problem was money management and online casino. When it came to win-losses, that was always my strength. Brock: Out of anyone here, I hope that you win. You're so hooked. You're a nice guy. I'd love to see you nail a huge parlay

In sports betting I'm probably even
In all gambling, I'd say I'm up a few dimes, but probably lost a few years to second hand smoke and stress.
Still worth it.

Up over 6 figs lifetime in all gambling. Only a small fraction of that from capping games, up $6K-$7K overall in the last ~3 years..
I am down almost 5 figs from capping this calendar year so far though. Variance sucks balls.

A lot of bullshit in this thread, funny how the best capper Rudy is the only honest about his answer and he is by far and its not even close the best capper in this thread.

i did an excel spread sheet a long time ago. I am 'up' buy a few hundred. I wish i saved that excel sheet would be niced to add on to it. It was pretty easy doing since i mainly just used Intertops . but just because I am up doesn't mean I cashed that money out.

Up a couple grand.....mainly from a few longshot parlays I hit on Bodog when I first started gambling in 09
Without those parlays I'm probably hovering around even give or take a few hundred......I usually win in NFL and NCAA Football, lose in NBA and NCAA Basketball and am doing pretty well so far in MLB (first season I've bet it consistently)
Every year I'm in an NFL pool where we have to pick the spreads of every game every week.....pool has about 40 people.......2 years ago I won it all and last year I came in 3rd. The NFL can be beat, and I will prove it in a few months

Haha, oh how I do agree. I only wish there was a "sportsbettingratings", similar to the way "pokertableratings" is. While I do believe PTR contributed to the decline of online poker, the bullshit in this thread about recreational people being up 6+ figures sportsbetting makes me laugh. Haha!
Oh well,
Hughes

100% honest was down 75k or so by the time I was 22 since then slowly been eating back some of those losses but still probably down 50-60k. Had a huge few tilt years on the ponies where I went crazy. Have been working since I was like 12 so not like I buried myself too deep during that time but def got in a little debt and trouble hustling. Recently less tilt and actually know how to win a small amount at a time. When your young every night at the track you think you can walk away a rich man.

I believe some people are up lifetime on here......I am, if only by a couple grand......You gotta think the guys that post on SBR have a little edge compared to the public as a whole......We all research daily and get a lot of good opinions, stats, and advice. A lot of people just bet blindly...... Most people are losers long term, yes, but there are some winners too at least at this point in peoples lives
I'm up mainly because of a few ridiculous parlays that hit when I first started betting real money on games a couple of years ago......straight bets I'm a little better than 50% I'd say overall in all sports combined. Doesn't matter though......I bet for fun and as a hobby, it ain't my job and isn't much in the grand scheme of things
