My point proven!!! Thunder are in a small market and made a net profit for the 08-09. I'm sure they netted profit in 09-10 and 10-11, they got better each season. Some things need to be changed, but having the players take a significant cut across the board isn't gonna happen...I don't think.

Some of the owners will lose less money if they dont play, owners that own an NHL team have talked to other owners and said we locked the NHL players for a yr and the formula works and there is more parity and better revenue sharing......I dont think the NBA will play for awhile

Forbes 329 million valuation of the Thunders is a extremely under stated figure considering Bennet paid 350 million in 2006 and the Warriors were bought for 119 million in 1995 then sold last year for 450.

Many of the NBA teams have become expensive toys used to boost the ultra wealthy egos and the last decade has shown that there is always someone willing to overpay for any franchise making this whole lockout even more ridiculous.

Including as I mentioned the Blazers, who pretty much sell out every game and have made the playoffs.

That $129 million barely offsets inflation
