I actually have a balance at the book I would get free cash. I would withdrawal the $250 before adding the $250 free cash. So I was getting cash for my points. The free plays and free cash are better "point to cash" value to me. But I will adjust on this.

How do earn your 2,500 points to cash? You place wagers and win right? So why not wager at books and make same money. I would understand if you were getting 2,500 points for logging in and then cashing it.
But it's a same process of wagering. Why do you need SBR points to cash $250??
Plus...you pay the highest juice with SBR because they use BOOKMAKER. You get better juice on any other book available.

In the meantime I will ask Sam to make more gift cards available like pre paid Mastercards and such. As most know we stopped allowing points transfers in the Service Plays forum because of lawsuits from scum...errr, touts,(my apologies) whom claim players are in essence buying the picks from SBR.

The points program is a very simple concept but it also can be twisted to make it look like something it is not.

I love the idea of having some pre paid cards that would work at the books. I hope something like that can be worked out on that. I do think it is a great idea to consider this. Maybe there is a way that you can get this worked out with some of the books to get it to work.

I have seen the direct question asked and not answered on whether the order has to be in before the 30th or processed by the 30th. I have had something ordered since Wed. the 25th. I have never had an order stay open so long unless the weekend was involved. Everytime before when it was placed, it was completed in two days. Now its still open and the 30th will come and go without it being processed.

SO is the 30th the processed date or the last date to order them?

What is up for debate is how the points program is viewed in respect to online gaming laws, etc. That's why they smartly retained counsel. I have questioned the legality of the rewards program re: sportsbook promos for some time. It probably IS illegal through some form of accomplice liability. Regardless, thanks for the opportunity while it was there and for the non-sportsbook rewards going forward!

The problem that I have with this is that businesses located outside of the United States and its' territories should not have to abide by US laws. For instance, the legal age to drink alcohol in Costa Rica is 18. In the US, it's 21. Is a bar in Costa Rica breaking US law because they are serving alcohol to a 19 year old US citizen who is vacationing here?

It's the same principle. The sportsbooks are not located in the United States. When you login to whatever sportsbook, your computer has to exchange data with a server physically located in another country. How is it any different than you physically flying down to Costa Rica, walking up to a sportsbook, and placing a bet? Or walking into a brothel in CR and paying a prostitute for sex? It's all legal in Costa Rica, yet it's illegal in the United States. Should businesses in CR have to check citizenship and then familiarize themselves with every country's laws before they are allowed to do business with you?

I don't agree. To actually "gamble" you need to bet your own money. And remember the player is breaking zero US laws by playing at a sportsbook. So we basically give you an award/free gift, requires no deposit, and you play legally with no chance of loss,,,,hence no gambling.
