    Day 2 low carb
    woke up today and ate some rice crispies,

    starting over in about ten min with steak only and a tablespoon of ketchup

          If you have to eat carbs, eat them in the morning. At least you have the whole day to burn it off. Late night carbs are death.

                              jarrod from subway lost weight because he used to eat 2 large pizzas everyday and that was just from 12 to 4 pm

                                you can eat carbs whenever the fuk you want if you have an active lifestyle and workout regularly.

                                the whole "carbs in the morning" thing is just a myth.

                                and yes, a high protein breakfast is far better than carbs in the morning.

                                  not true if your normal and most people are not normal. on some people alll carbs turn to fat no matter what even if its 100 calories.

                                          TTWARRIOR, don't eat cold cereal at all...cereal spikes your insulin levels incredibly high and prevent your body from burning fat...bread and refined sugar should be nixed from your diet as well. If you keep your total grams of carbs for the day under 120 and eat lot's of leaner cuts of meat, eggs, veggies (non starchy ones), you'll start slimming down...do some moderate exercise to burn extra calories too! Load up on water and don't drink any kind of juice or soda either...even diet coke! I don't believe in the Atkins diet, but I do think that a Paleo diet has a lot of positives and it is what we are meant to eat. I know lots of skinny people who are as just as unhealthy as heavier people, though their physical appearance looks in good standing. Any person who eats lots of foods that increase insulin levels to a high number, will experience negative health affects and long term consequences, such as heart damage, diabetes, etc. Some people are just lucky that they don't become overweight.

                                                First google protein sparing modified fast. It's a diet used to eliminate as much fat as possible,
                                                as fast as possible, without losing muscle mass. Used by celebs, bodybuilders, pro athletes, etc..
                                                It's tough, but you can lose 20lbs of fat (not "weight") in a month. Stop with these stupid fad diets.

                                                              I do slow carb (similar), and have done it for 4 years. Healthy as a horse. All the steak, dark chocolate, dairy, veggies, BBQ, beans I want. One cheat day where I eat like a total pig -- whole pizzas, donuts, all that.

                                                              Good luck. Get through the first two weeks or so, you'll never look back. Don't ever not do the cheat day though. You'll plateau if that's all your body is used to.

                                                                  Its been pretty easy so far. I've been a potato fiend forever, and actually don't miss it right now. Been walking 2-3 miles a day. Looking to up it to 5 miles in the next month or so.

                                                                      Potatoes and rice won't kill ya if you have a little bit of it for lunch, since it's natural carbs. 100X better than a sandwich. I made that number up, but it is way better. Just make sure your breakfast and dinner are as void of carbs as possible, as I'm sure you know.

                                                                      And like I said, go bonkers with the carbs one day a week, it's key. Over time, you actually won't look forward to this day as much as you did before.

                                                                      Staying in tonight, drinking cab and cooking a rib-eye with green beans sauteed in garlic butter. Business as usual. 14% body fat last time I went to the doc.
