Full Tilt, Pokerstars, Ultimate Bet seized by gov't?

The more I think about this though, believe poker has become so popular worldwide and the WSOP itself, that the fields will still be larger than the initial year after moneymaker won.

Anyone know the amount of WSOP entrants in the first year after Moneymaker won the title?


Having said, the total entrants are going to be substantially down from last year........guessing by at least 20% and probably more.

Here is the funny part. I let my buddy borrow 2000 and he transferred me the money on UB. I tried to cash out a couple of weeks ago and they wouldn't let me. They said I didn't play enough to withdrawal the money. They also said we are not a money laundering website. So I played a little bit then for the past week and a half I have been working my ass off. No time to play at all. now I can't play and can't get my money out. I have 2100 on there. I'm screwed

Hachem won there were 5619 players in 2005
Gold won there were 8773 players in 2006

There has never been more than 8773 players entered in the ME

I'd rather play in a casino myself but all these grinding geeks are crying. The profit is not there live unless you play higher stakes.

The rake is slightly higher, big deal, so you win a 100 pot and get 96 bucks instead of 97, get over it, have a free drink and a free buffet and call it even, maybe even meet a cute girl and take her back to your comped room and **** her brains out instead of jerkin off

100 miles max big deal, get out of the fuckin house, you aint in fuckin prison (unless the govt really gets serious and prosecutes the 200k tax cheats and illegal gamblers at stars which wouldnt surprise me as crazy as the govt is getting)

Quad Jacks live broadcast about poker doomsday: Stars to close?

Eric Morris publisher of Bluff Magazine was also just on the Quadjacks broadcast and said he heard from a very reputable source that Stars would shutdown completely in the coming days.

Theory is that they can not handle all of the withdrawls all at once

Don't play a single hand until about 5 hours before you will be blinded out.............you will have a better than 50-50 chance of making money, not much though.

I read an article in FORBES magazine that has the owner of the Wynn Casino's trying to regulate online poker....
Now because of this crap he's backing out... to cover his own ass which i can't blame him.
