#2Thats nothing, few years ago Mets had a walk off grand slam in the playoffs and all the runs did not count. Game went under instead off over. Worst bad beat of all time.Comment -

#5If I remember correctly, The runs did not count because Robin Ventura did not cross home plate. Anyone remember this more clearer. Please refresh my memoryComment -

#8you sure? i think it counts as 4 runs if it is a grand slam. i remember last season yankees game where a-rod hits a 2 out grand slam to win the game...all the runs counted. (April 20 or 21st 2007 Igawa pitching)Comment -

#10Impossible. In that circumstance, the "ground rule double" would be credited as a single and only one run would count. The ONLY time the extra runs count on a game-winning hit is on a home run.Comment -

#11It WOULD have been a grand slam if Ventura had actually touched all bases, but he was mobbed between first and second and did not trot on. Thus only credited with a single, so only one run counted.Comment -

#13mofone, I have seen NHL playoff overtime winners where guys have put the puck in their own net. Ventura's "walk off single" just may be the toughest beat of all time for Over and Run Line bettors.Comment -

#18also there is one instance in the last century baseball where the game winning run never counted because the runner ran into the club house to avoid the mob...i for which team was it...think it was the giants...they had to replay that game at the end of the season because both team tied for the division, and they lost the tie breaking game...so if the runner ran home instead of the club house, then they would've won the divison.Comment -
