Betmaker has an introductory deal for new members of 2% commission for winning bets. You don't pay commission on losing bets. Then it goes to 5% (just on winning bets) minus a discount you get based on how much you put into action and how often you play. Even 5% still beats full juice books by a long shot. But like I said its 2% intro deal. Not sure for how long.

2% on winning bets is definitely do-able. Not too different from Matchbook's 1% commission win or lose. I suspect that Betmaker will keep this structure long term, since they are now poised to capture a lot of Matchbook's business.

I'm living in europe but Matchbook is not popular in europe. Many friend of mine says, Match, What? Never heard of it, lol.

Minnesota was +105 in market and I was able to pick it at +109 today, Thanks to Matchbook. But liquidity will be very poor if they leave US.

Matchbook, the betting exchange of which you are a registered participant, is being sold effective February 28th 2011. The new owners of Matchbook have been informed by its legal advisors that accepting wagers from anyone located within the United States might constitute a violation of United States law. Accordingly, Matchbook will no longer accept a participant located in the United States, where wagering on a sporting event or any other event in which chance predominates might be a violation of law. As a result, if you are a registered participant located in the United States, you will not be able to access your account for the purposes of placing a wager effective immediately upon the transfer of ownership of Matchbook on February 28th 2011.

The accounts of all registered participants located in the United States will be closed effective February 28th 2011. The new owners of Matchbook will work with the affected participants to ensure that all funds remaining in the registered participants’ accounts as of February 28th 2011 will be returned to the registered participants located in the United States within 31 days from the aforesaid date.

Registered participants whose accounts will be closed effective February 28th 2011, will be sent, via email, detailed instructions as to the procedure required to receive the funds remaining in their respective accounts as of February 28th 2011. The new ownership will provide contact information for questions from registered participants whose accounts have been closed.
