    a pic I found online

We had a boxer growing up...When my sister was a toddler she would walk along the couch, where he was laying down, and stop and stand on his head. She'd poke him in the eyes for no reason, she'd clobber him upside the head with a toy the way a 2 yr old does and the most he would ever do was get up and walk away...But let someone he didn't know try to touch my sister, he'd give them the what for. Loved that damn dog.

I travel too much and don't want the headache of owning a dog, but I look forward to when I can buy me a boxer.

If you get a pit bull you might regret it for the rest of your life.

If that thing attacks a little kid, which they are known to do, you won't be able to get rid of the guilt for the rest of your life. Or even worse if you have kids.

Lots of you keep saying "x breed of dog is the smartest". The most intelligent dog is a Border Collie.

By the way getting a dog means spending everyday taking care of it, if you don't like that idea then be prepared to have a god that is mentally insane and dangerous to others.

It sure is a bigger responsibility than many first time dog owners will anticipate. That's why I didn't get a replacement when mine died a few years ago. I miss him.
