This guy dumped money by betting against GSP last night and is now taking his anger out on soccer.

I bet this maxcraft is some fat, Big Mac eating slob who has never left his home state in his entire lifetime. What about the NFL maxipad? The average play lasts 4 seconds, you then get 25 seconds worth of nothing in between, all while being bombarded with advertisements for 3 hours. Now what sounds boring?

I don't agree that soccer is stupid, but I do agree that playing a full game and having it end 0-0 is not entertaining and a waste of time.

Hockey used to have ties, but they got rid of them. For me, if they got rid of the ties (no point for a tie), I would like the sport more.

Personally, if I pay money to go to a game, I would like to leave knowing that some one either won or lost. A tie makes no sense.

Sometimes ties are appropriate, soccer is a tough sport in times of endurance. You can't have them out there too long until someone scores. Penalties is a weak way to determine a winner.

Soccer is horrible. Any sport that supports a culture where a zero-zero tie is worth playing for is lame. That's why it hasn't taken hold in the US. The attitude with which most American are raised (overly hostile, needlessly aggressive, discourteous, etc.) clashes with the attitude necessary to like a sport where 1-0 is considered a blow-out. I'm repulsed by American culture, mind you, but I did grow up in it and I can't get over my distaste and my disdain for Soccer. There is, though, tons of money to be made in betting it.

Soccer may not suit Americans, myself included, but that sport probably generates the highest betting volume in the world. Even a 0-0 game would be interesting if you bet on the draw, under, or 0-0 exact score.
