#37Possibly bottom 5. A lot of bad Presidents before we were born.
I can entertain the idea that he was the worst President in our lifetime.
But I believe Clinton may be the worst of our lifetime.
Barack Obama was handed a bad economy and has no military direction.
2 major highlights of his Presidency.
In all fairness, he did get a bad economy dropped on him. But he still didn't do shit to fix it.
Militarily, he can't win a war when the region has already been bombed out for 6 years-that's pathetic.
But, he might let fags enlist legally, Whoop The **** Yay!Comment -

The White House Tuesday evening disclosed that almost three weeks ago the Obama administration granted ethics wavers for two additional officials who had previously worked as lobbyists. On February 20 the administration signed waivers for Jocelyn Frye, former general counsel at the National Partnership for Women & Families, and Cecilia Muñoz, the former senior vice president for the National Council of La Raza, allowing them to work on issues for which they lobbied.
These two are in addition to deputy Defense Secretary Bill Lynn, a former Raytheon lobbyist whose waiver was granted two days after President Obama announced on January 21 what he heralded as the most sweeping ethics rules in American history -- ones that would "close the revolving door that lets lobbyists come into government freely."
The Executive Order on Ethics Commitments by Executive Branch Personnel requires that lobbyists who become members of Obama administration will not be able to work on matters they lobbied on for two years, or in the agencies they lobbied during the previous two years. Out of approximately 800 executive branch appointments, three waivers have been granted, the Obama administration said.
Not all of the former lobbyists entering the administration have required the formal waivers; the White House has also required incoming administration officials who worked as lobbyists to write letters of recusal, indicating issues that they will stay away from dealing with because of their previous jobs. But those letters of recusal have not yet been disclosed.
Frye's waiver, signed by Norm Eisen, the special counsel to the President and designate agency ethics official, states that it's "in the public interest to grant the waiver because Ms. Fry's expertise in the areas in which she acted as a registered lobbyist is essential to her service to the Office of the First Lady." Frye, director of policy and projects in the Office of the First Lady, has "a particular focus on women, families and on engagement with the greater D.C. community," the White House says. Having directed the National Partnership’s Workplace Fairness Program in her previous job, she focused on "employment and gender discrimination issues, with a particular emphasis on employment barriers facing women of color and low-income women."
Muñoz's waiver was granted also in the public interest "because Ms. Munoz's knowledge and expertise are vital to the functioning of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs," Eisen wrote. As director of intergovernmental affairs in the Executive Office of the President, Muñoz is chief liaison to the Latino community, in addition to coordinating with state and local governments. signed by Norm Eisen, the special counsel to the President and designate agency ethics official, states that it's "in the public interest to grant the waiver because Ms. Fry's expertise in the areas in which she acted as a registered lobbyist is essential to her service to the Office of the First Lady."
"We took the rare step of granting the waivers to Ms. Frye and Ms. Muñoz because of the importance of their respective positions and because of each woman’s unequalled qualifications for her job," Eisen said. "Each is a leading substantive expert on the relevant issue areas and each also has long-standing relationships with constituencies important to their respective offices."Comment -

1. Denying people based on pre-existing conditions or even kicking children off after finding out about them when they need care is a major flaw of our health care system.
2. Statistics show women constantly get paid less on average than men do in many businesses. So yes, it is a big deal.
3. The stimulus pretty much saved our economy. Sorry you didn't get a handout for one million dollars.
4. Uh no, he set regulations on Wall Street. Pay attention.
5. The automobile companies have been regulated numerous times.
6. Knowing the nuclear activities of Russia is a big deal. So yes, it is a good thing.
7. Maybe you should look up the recent deal we made with South Korea. Going by your statement, you seem to have no idea what it even is.Comment -

#44Hotdiggity:
You list ObamaCare as an accomplishment even though it's extremely damaging on so many different levels. Setting aside the fact that the hard working 85% of our country's population is going to experience a serious decline in the quality of health care they receive, ObamaCare is designed in the WORST POSSIBLE WAY.
Even if we take the Obama administration projections as to the cost at face value, ObamaCare needs to be funded a full 4 years in advance in order for it to be deficit neutral for its first 10 years. When Obama is asked what will happen starting in year 11, he pretty much responds that we will cross that bridge when the time comes.
WHAT KIND OF PLANNING IS THAT? We are talking about our country's medical care for Christ sake. To make matters worse, since ObamaCare was passed, the cost estimates have already risen substantially and will continue to do so.
If our country makes the grave mistake of actually implementing ObamaCare, THERE IS NO GOING BACK as ObamaCare will burn through the excess productive capacity left behind by our current system very quickly.
The plain simple truth is that the majority of the world is stuck with socialized medicine in one form or another. Contrary to the ridiculous claims of left-wing lunatics like Michael Moore who try and convince citizens of the U.S. how wonderfully socialized medicine works, the vast majority of people around the world are extremely jealous of the quality of medical care that Americans are currently receiving. Posters like Tsonga, Subs and a host of non U.S. citizens are clear evidence of this.
While people around the world are extremely bitter about the low quality medical care they receive under their country's version of socialized medicine as compared to the U.S., there isn't a single example of any country switching from a socialized medical care system back to a system similar to what we are currently enjoying. The reason for this is because ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO SO.
Therefore, to recap:
Obama, along with his selfish merry band of congressional democrats (who conveniently made sure to exempt themselves from having to participate in a plan they themselves created for the rest of us common folk) are trying to socialize our country's medical care system which will result in a serious reduction as to the quality of medical care disbursed to the hard working 85% segment of our population.
They have designed it in such a way where they openly admit it can NOT come close to paying for itself (which is why they have to pre-fund the damn thing 4 years in advance).
Therefore, we are getting much lower quality medical care for the vast majority of hard-working Americans at 3X the price, the politicians have conveniently exempted themselves from the plan and when asked what will happen starting in year 11, Obama says we will worry about that later.
The scary thing is that democrats like Hotdiggity (who is actually more intelligent than most liberals) actually believe that this is one of Obama's GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
1. The mandate portion of the health care bill [Which would be the most expensive part of the enactment by far] doesn't begin in 2011 and nearly meets your 4-year framework for when it is enacted.
2. As I have already mentioned, the problem with U.S. healthcare isn't the quality but the access people have to it. Unless you luck out with a job that gives it to you or are rich, healthcare bills are a struggle to many people and have even caused people to go into bankruptcy.
3. You act as if "socialized medicine" is hated and weak throughout the world. Sure, there are countries with it that have horrible care but that is normally correlated with their country as a whole, not their medical philosophy. Sweden and Norway [Two prosperous countries in their own right] have a single payer health care system and are regularly at the top of the lists in affordability [Due to taxes taking care of most of the cost burden], health care quality, and accessibility.
4. U.S. Congressman already get socialized health care. It's called government-ran healthcare. What they get is actually more Socialist than the private companies that the majority of Americans will ascribe to as it is paid for by taxes and is conducted by government employees.Comment -

#49Clinton took the stage and showed he belongs there. He answered questions in depth and showed the knowledge that Obama needs to get his ass to work in learning. You didn't hear him whine and moan and shy away from topics....he showed more substance on that podium in that half hour or so than Obama and Gibbs have in 2 years.
Go back and look at the way Obama is standing right against him and looking in awe as in...wow...so THATS how a President is suppose to speak without a teleprompter and prepared questions.
Obama started off at community college and his academic success was partially product of affirmative action.

1. A 26 year old is a child?
2.Women making less is a bogus argument. It's ALL WOMEN salaries compared to ALL MALE salaries. What if Men are more doctors and women are more nurses? You can't just walk into a hospital and conclude they are sexist because the average male makes more than the average female. You need to standardize the data and compare men with similar backgrounds, education, experience to women of the same cut. When you do that there is no pay gap. It's more liberal propaganda.Comment -

Most people go from High School to the Ivy Leagues. They don't go from High School, to community college to the Ivy leagues. Do you think Obama's race had nothing to do with that? How come he never released his test scores? If he has nothing to hide then why not just release the information?
The thing is people like you get scared by credentials. Obama went to THIS college... ooooooo ahhhhhhhh. Look man, they learn the same stuff at Harvard as they do at Penn State. The Math is the same for them. They read the same Odyssey and Illiad. A lot of people go to the Ivy leagues because A) They got better grades and test scores in high school B) Their parents went there C) They are rich. D) Affirmative action.
