the vols will play hard defense for 40 minutes, they'll be a tough beat for anyone they play. Their problem is they have too many scoring droughts and not enough ways to get out of them. I would start JaJuan at the 1, lofton at the 2, and go from there.

OK - assuming Beasley does go, and none of the other underclassmen do, then I'll take Georgetown's Hibbert next.

Beasley is the only one that can actually be effective in the nba, the other guys will be lucky to get on a roster, the nba is that good now

imo, Hibbert won't make much of a pro. Hes too slow.

You're probably right, but some team will go for him at 7'2" pretty close to the top.

a big conference tourney and then national tourney could help him of course. i think people want to see him show up big this season on the big stage. I dont think he'll impress much in individual work outs, so this will be his time to show up.

agree with mofo abt hibbert, he is not only slow, but has no lift, i realize he's 7'2", but even at that height, a guys needs to be somewhat athletic, he is very awkward looking, but as sportsgirl says, hes so tall he'll get a strong look from many teams

Beasley is a freak of nature. He's head and shoulders above everyone else right now. He's going #1 no matter who comes out.

Imagine a lineup of Wade, Marion, and Beasley...

I say revisit this question after the tourney.

If certain players perform well, their stock rises, and vice versa.

                            Beasley is easily #1

While I am not sure OJ Mayo is going to go top 5 he certainly will go very high and will be a stud in the NBA. His game is more for the pro type game than college.

Kevin Love is head and shoulders above Hansborough as far as the NBA should be concerned. He has better post moves, touch, outside jumper, rebounding position. Hanborough gets a ton of rebounds due to hustle, while Love has learned to block out. Hansborough gets to the line by jumping straight into people and the NBA refs won't bail him out everytime. He also lacks the outside jumper a pf needs in the NBA and he isn't big enough to play center.

Eric Gordon has insane range and will be a great prospect as well.

This is more of my opinions on people have comented on so far than a top 5 cause I haven't thought about it enough.
