#37dodif, after ucla shut down mayo 2 wks ago or whatever, i said the same thing abt mayo not being ready, and said it here in these forums. i was roasted for it. i think mayo is a super athletic guy, very strong for a guard, but he lacks the basketball sense and shot selection necessary rite now, i also think there are concerns abt his attitude at the next level. he reminds me of marbury, only a little taller and stronger.
i really dislike marbury, btw
Did Marbury knock down 40% from 3? He may have, but I'd be surprised. UCLA locked down Mayo and they'll lock down a lot of great players, but he's forced to put up numbers on a team that runs a pathetic offense and really has no depth. Hes the entire focus of every defense and he's shown great patience imo. I don't think he plays like Marbury much at all.Comment -

#38This would be a debatable notion. It would seem that while you may or may not "know hoops," you clearly don't know how to post on a board without being offensive to other participants and this may, in fact, place you in the catagory of idiot.
I shall, however, reserve judgement as I am unable to muster enough care to actually give a crap.
Cheers.Comment -

#40i dont like to compare klove to hansbrough, tho. very diffent players. tyler is a junior rite? much stronger i think in his upper body, but does not have the post moves or touch in the paint that klove has. tyler probably a better defender. klove def a better perimeter shooter, will cause matchup problems for nba forwards taking them to the perimeter. will need another big man tho to protect him on defense from fouling out in 12 mins of nba actionComment -

ive mentioned many times, i don't like sc. don't kid yourself, you don't actually know anything about me. you're knowledge? i believe you said he would go 13th? you made some reference about mayop and the 13th pick, i was simply stating that there is no chance he'll be there at 13.

Speculate: verb; to assume a risk in hope of gain
Whether or not you are good or bad at gambling, the very nature of it is speculative because it's not a guarentee. This is a simple and basic concept.
And, please, do not further your current jackass status by calling me "honey."Comment -

#57dodif is a passionate guy who knows his stuff, flare ups happen on these boards, all part of the experience, mofo and i had a mini flare up after vandy beat his beloved vols, but neither one of us gives a crap and we move on. we dont take it personally. its funny, when my buddies get together for poker, we always have flare ups, then the game is over and we are clinking our drinks saying cheers, laughing abt it, whereas my wife and her friends play poker, they are mad at each other for weeks because someone talked shit, women are too funnyComment -

dod isn't a hard one to recognize. If facts don't support his case he'll simply say 'ur' and, therefore, render mortals useless against his e-tactics.Comment -

Yes, that was a good time, i enjoyed it. Ive got respect for your knowledge and posts and you are aware of that. Its fun to see some people with some passion, but not if its nonsensical. Dod calls a question stupid for absolutely no good reason. Its not as if i asked him whether he'd prefer to be raped by a friendly midget or a small dog, i asked a question about the NBA draft.Comment -

The momentum in Knoxville is picking up. On the basketball front they just picked up a huge recruit for the 09 season, they're about to close on the best player remaining in the 08 class, and they're still in the top 4 despite the tough loss at Vandy. If TN is going to make it to the final 4 they'll need to be able to score in their half court offense. To do that they'll need ramar smith to step his game up greatly.Comment -
