I've had too many PMs and turned them off. Answering everything here and now including topics on my last weekend's plays. I will not answer anything else.
1. Did I really just refer to myself in 3rd person? I was just making it easier to see on the subject line
2. Is your real name Dalton? I do not ask personal names of anyone here and expect the same, but will give you a hint in the next question.
3. Do you want to start a website? I have never taken money from anyone for my picks and would never. The only money I have ever gotten from sports betting is winning from a book.
4. Are you a pro? I use to solely gamble for an income, not now.
5. What are your best sports? 1st quarter NBA and 2nd half college basketball
6. Will you release those or the plays you usually do? No. Don't really want to listen to the BS. Not my fault if you can't manage your bankroll. Losing streaks happen.
7. So you didn't really bet the games you put out each week? Yes I did. But the football games were basic reverse line movement games with an added bonus or 2. There are multiple reverse line movement games each week, but if you noticed, I released mine earlier in the week and usually got a better line than the closing number (even last week, 3 out of 4 lines I posted from Bookmaker beat the closing number, although all 4 lost). This is not true with all lines that appear to be RLM, but mine fit certain criteria and have a good feeling I'll get the best of it in those particular games. I have 5 different ways to bet on a game, this is 1.
8. Why did you leave? 2 reasons. 1. I've been busy. 2. I always said I'd go on a losing streak, warned it, told people not to blindly tail and frankly I don't want to listen to people bitch about it because in reality, 4 losses in a row is not even a big deal, that happens multiple times a month. I lose my own money on those, I don't have to hear it from someone else too. I expect to win 55-57% of the time. Shit happens. You can't win 5.5 plays out of 10 every time, variance exists.
9. Where should I start? Well, it depends on your roll. If you are less than $1,000, learn to play .5/.10 NL until you have 1k. You won't win depositing $50 here and there.
10. What is the easiest sport to win at? That's up to you to decide on how you do things.
11. Do you think the closing numbers are efficient? No. A lot of very smart people think so, so I won't argue...but I am very confident I can beat the closing number. Ofcourse, if I think I can get a better line than the closing number on particular games, I'd definitely bet it. Clearly you have more value if you do, not arguing that point.
12. What is the most important thing of sports betting? Keeping accurate records, including almost every small detail.
A few thoughts:
SBR POKER
I will not say anything negative, but will compliment a few. Sorry you guys, you will be hurt the most by this section I suppose.
A lot of bad players in the poker room, but quite a few above average. With the type of mixture of people I felt it was best not to play my normal tag game but more on the loose-passive side, especially being for points. Don't get mad if I don't list you, like I said quite a few above average.
Top 3 players in no particular order
1. Daneblazer
2. Rdo37
3. LVHerbie
I had it written out as to why they're good, but I'll leave that part out.
SPORTSBOOKS:
When I see someone complain about Bodog or SIA being a square book and they want to change, sorry but I just have to laugh my ass off. It takes about 1 minute of looking at sbrodds to beat those books. If you don't win there, withdraw the rest of your funds immediately
BANKROLL:
Losing can cause good people to go bad if you don't manage your bankroll. Remember for 99% of posters this is for recreational purposes only. If you work close to minimum wage, you wouldn't take a day trip to some fancy ass hotel and buy the most expensive wine. Keep things in perspective.
