I know it's still early in the NBA season to even talk about this, however this team looks like they could possibly accomplish this feat.

There last west coast road trip made me a believer that this team is for real.

Been a Celtics bum swab since 1956 - have seen them all - never expected these guys to jell into such a good group so soon - they are scary - even the 3 games they lost they had a chance to win near the end -

The 3 stars are great but I feel the big improvement has been the guys off the bench - there is a pretty good team sitting on the bench to start the game. Posey and House have been great - Powe and Big Baby have been carrying the load when they take over - Rivers has a sit down/rest plan for Garnett that makes him a rested force at the end of games that tells me that no one can pull away in the late game. Without a double team on Garnett, that he has always faced, and him being such a good passer - the end of game belongs to him - he is showing that he really is one of the all time best. I expected big from him but this is more than I could have wished for.

I would suggest that you don't bet against them as they will kill you late in the game.

Sorry I got carried away there -- but like Belichick says "It is what it is".

      Go Pats

Regular season heroics mean little. Just ask Dallas and Phoenix. They will win a lot of games, because they constantly express that they have to 'stay focused to get where they want to go'. Only problem is that, once they're in the playoffs, their so called Big Three brings a Mickey Mouse portion of experience to the table.

Their next 20 games are very important if they want to accomplish that feat. 12 of the 20 teams are .500 or better record wise.

After that they should sail through until they have a brutal 6 game stretch where they play San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, and New Orleans twice, all in a 7 game span.(at the end of March) That is the one that will make or break them.

              They will win between 65-68

Will slow down, just too tough and draining

I'd love to make a market on this prop.

In another thread about this same topic, I said NO. They have a chance at 68.

Bodog offered a prop like this when Detroit had a good shot at hitting the 70 win mark a few years ago. So it's a possibility you just might get your wish Ricky.

I agree with concern about that trip thru Texas - figure by then they should have a comfortable lead on everyone else in the East that the bench will be getting some major minutes. That bench is going to be a major plus for them -
I don't really expect them to be looking for 65-68 wins - I just want them to be healthy for playoffs.
