There were just two types of tickets, one was Phillies to tie and one was Phillies to win. There was an edge to both. Normally I buy a bunch of tickets of the same plays. Have to maximize EV - if you mix in losers just to increase your chances of hitting you won't make anything in the long run.

Same as what I do/did (more past tense these days). Play the same team tie and home or visitor win. Phillies win by one and and both cash. I love those ties, it's a tie if it goes to extra innings. One team can score 10 runs in the tenth but the tie still stands.

Mathy, for fun dropped $70 on tonight's games. This is what I like to do. There's value with the Cards/Reds over. Pinny had over 8.5, -118 earlier when I bought the tickets, noticed it's -111 now. Proline gives over 8.5, +100.

So that over on all tickets, covering with Sea and Bos tie and win. If the over doesn't hit or Tor or Oak win by 2+ I'm fukked.

Prolly won't cash but it's only $70 so no big loss.

it has been my experience that the sharpest guys are always the ones claiming so. the ones winning the most money are the ones that say they do... now this Nicky guy on the other hand... years ago it was my privilege to sit at a bar with Ed and Billy, two small time pros, on several Sundays during NFL. taught me many things. one that always stuck with me was: the sharp bettor never reveals what he played, what he won, what he lost. everything close to the vest. if you want to be a pro, start by fukking acting like one.

This is so wrong it's not even close in my experience. I can assure you 99% of people on here or real life constantly bragging or trying to impress don't know jack and haven't won sheet. They may HAVE a lot of money to blow on sports betting but are not winning it. The top poker players/sports bettors in the world I know from years of experience are very low key and take the money to the bank but don't sound an alarm about it at all.

You wouldn't even think they were any different then Jon Doe standing next to them at any given point. That is unless you got in their car or went to their house.
