Mix cornmeal and flour with your favorite spices, dip the seafood in milk, roll in mix and fry. Good stuff!

nothing beats southern fried catfish. Basa is good too. Rinse off the fillets and other stuff. Heat your oil to 350. Fry a half pound fillet for about 6-7 minutes. Coat your seafood with just seafood breader, don't coat it with egg and then breader because that will put to much breader on it. Shrimp only take about 1-2 minutes. Scallops depend on size. But a tater tot size scallop take about 5 minutes. My friend owns a fried fish take out and those are his cook times and methods. He uses atkinson's breading but that is only available in north carolina.

get the cajun if you find it. But I know for sure it's a local mill in north carolina. Good luck finding it.
