The Bullseye Week 16 SBR Contest Picks

The Bullseye squad turned in a 4-1 performance in Week 15 for only the second time all year. The elusive 'Perfect Week' still remains. They now sit a game under .500 with their sights set on getting on right side of the ledger this week. Five NFL games highlight the Week 16 card:

Michael McClymont (10-3-2): Atlanta Falcons vs Baltimore Ravens UNDER 35.5 (-110)

"Weather is the story of the week as many games will be affected by snow or strong winds. Falcons-Ravens is one of those such games, as gusts up to 30 mph are expected. Lamar Jackson is also expected to miss another week and Ravens games have gone under this number the past three weeks with Tyler Huntley under center."

Jon Metler (9-6-0): NEW YORK GIANTS +4 (-110) vs Minnesota Vikings

"A whiteout is being hosted by the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, which should make Saquon Barkley feel right at home as a former Penn State Nittany Lion. I make the Vikings a 2.5-point favorite over the New York Giants, so although my number differs from the spread by only 1.5 points, it involves several key numbers which is why I'm backing the Giants."

Andrew Brennan (9-6-0): CINCINNATI BENGALS -3 (-116) vs New England Patriots

"This is reportedly set to be one of the coldest games of the year. I guess that's what happens when Joe Brr rolls into town. Meanwhile, lost in all the kerfuffle of that truly bizarre final play between the Patriots and Raiders is that Mac Jones put together perhaps one of the worst quarterback performances of the season. The Bengals have won six straight games by an average margin of nearly 10 points, failing to cover this spread only in their three-point victory against the Chiefs."

Esten McLaren (5-10-0): PITTSBURGH STEELERS -2.5 (-115) vs Las Vegas Raiders

"The dome-dwelling Raiders are being overvalued coming off their highly-questionable 30-24 last-second win over the Patriots. Not only do the Steelers have a significant advantage in the coaching department, but they'll also have an advantage with this game being played outside on Christmas Eve night. Pittsburgh has won three of its last four games and gets rookie QB Kenny Pickett back against the very beatable Las Vegas pass defense."

Sean Tomlinson (3-12-0): DETROIT LIONS -2.5 (-120) vs Carolina Panthers

"The Lions remained lovable losers early in 2022, when they dropped six of their first seven games. Now they're white hot and have done the exact opposite over a seven-game stretch. That run has included plenty of convincing triumphs, too. Their average margin of victory since Week 9 is 10 points, and the lone stumble during that period was just a three-point defeat to the mighty Buffalo Bills. Now an offense averaging 26.4 points per game (sixth) will outshine a Panthers unit scoring just 19.7 per outing (24th)."
