Usually when a line drops 5 days before kick off the sharps are betting it down.

Stidham looked very good against a top ranked defense, what you think is gonna happen when he goes against KCs swiss cheese defense?

Yes, I think that's true because the Bills beat the Chiefs H2H.

-7.5 with a -480 ML is pretty wide. Chiefs -7.5 would look like a really good teaser candidate, but what's the second leg?

chiefs also just want to win. they don't need a blowout and risk injury. so if they are up comfortably they will not care if they win by 14 or 3.

Chiefs barely won the MNF game vs the Raiders. KC is just kind of stumbling along into the playoffs. They find ways.

KC is not that good but they do find ways to win. I think they will get knocked out early in the playoffs.

Why do you keep saying a forfeit by the Bills ?

I havent seen that suggested anywhere ?

Two teams , and eventually NFL head office , made the decision to postpone the game. Why would this be a reason to penalize The Bills ?

I agree that won't happen. Most likely they will just finish with playing only 16 games. The records can still determine playoff seeding.

chiefs should be motivated, they have a lot to gain with a win. sounds like bills@bengals is going to either not be played again, or ties issued to both teams

That's why the ML is high. But they do have a habit of not covering.

chiefs will pull it out. andy reid is eating burgers making the gameplan. the points were too high and the sharps are bringing the line down as mentioned.

    Not true.

The line moved right before and was moving when the OP posted.

This is in contrast to your post in another thread claiming this...

When the line you're referring to hadn't moved in hours and never did move again by game game time. In other words, that line was never "moving" as you claimed.

Hopefully you can see the difference.

I'm talking about anytime the line moves it's the sharp money moving the line not the public money moving the line. you took my statement way out of context

Your statement was made in a conversation.

It's my statement that you are taking out of context, in this thread and that one.

Give it up kid, you are barking up the wrong tree. Just try to to understand the difference between this thread and the other thread.

That's all you need to do. No need to respond.

If you say you're moving out of town doesn't mean you're moving right at that moment. It could be moving tomorrow you could have moved yesterday and you told someone I'm moving.

Assuming that they scrap the Bills/Bengals week 17 game, If the Chiefs lose agaisnt The Raiders and Buffalo wins agaisnt the Pats, Buffalo would still get the #1 seed with a slightly better record with one less loss. However, the Bengals/Ravens game wouldn't matter who wins as the Bengals would already have the division won with a slightly better record with one less loss than the Ravens even if they lose.

    This is really crazy.

So basically giving the Bills and Bengals a tie this week, I guess.

Kermit, I originally thought they would abandon the game. Meaning that KC 14-3 couldn't be matched by the Bills (who would max out at 13-3).

I now wonder if they'll use week 19 as a contingency plan.*

*If the Buf/CIN has significant playoff implications, they can play that game. Give everyone else a bye week. Scrub out the week off b4 Super Bowl.

Think my logic on Buf/CIN may have been wrong. That said:

*Does anyone think the Bills are going to be real focused this week (vs New Eng)?

I don't. If I'm on the Chiefs, I want to lay down a marker at 14-3.

Right, a 14-3 cannot be matched, but if they lose and go to 13-4, and the Bills win, they would be 13-3 which would be slightly better. If the NFL decides to give the Bills and Bengals a tie, then 13-3-1 for the Bills would overtake the Chiefs at 13-4. That of course IF the Chiefs lose on Saturday.

If the Chiefs win on Saturday, the Bills have nothing to play for on Sunday, unless they do reschedule the week 17 game to week 19.

Some good thoughts in here. I'll take it one step further (as it relates to evaluating these teams):

*Are the Bills shot for this season?

Think about it. Do these guys even want to play after what they saw?

I'm not saying they'll Forfeit. I'm saying that I'm not sure they'll be up to it.
