salvaged a horrible beginning to the week over the last few days

if the cards had won last night i would really be riding high..up 4-1 and 5-4 and the bp implodes to the lowly nationals..thankfully pallante pitched great today and they took care of business

running luke warm..love the mets tomorrow lock city max vs corbin and the juice aint bad
i cashed out but this could be a huge monday play before the usual tuesday shenanigans

swinging a hammer still pays my bills after all these years (27+) but getting lucky at the wheel and knowing a few trainers doesn’t hurt for some extra “kick around” cash…

My buddy won’t go to the casino without me….I get him out when’s he’s ahead and lend voice of reason occasionally…lol. Went to check on him playing blackjack…he’s got the sidebet “lucky ladies” for $5…his first two cards are the queen of hearts ($5 x 200) so now he’s up an instant grand when we realize the dealer has an ace showing…LL with dealer having blackjack odds 1000/1…potentially having to pay out $5k the table comes to a screeching halt with eye in the sky verifying chit…yadda yadda…end up NOT having 21 but now I’m not allowed to leave the scene….lol. Goes on to put $800+ on the guy sitting next to him who has two aces and not enough money to cover a dd cause he was all in…lol. They end up winning both hands so now two degenerates are demanding my presence at a gd bj table that I’m not even interested in. I had live tickets on horses and no line of sight to the simulcast screens from their blackjack table…lol.

Jesus, sounds like me wish i had a buddy like you. I did actually but I never listened to him. He tried to pull me out of losing 5k at the baccarat table I wouldn't listen. Countless other times. We were both track degenerates at all the local IL OTBs and at Balmoral Park (RIP).

It definitely helps knowing some trainers, to me thats 50% of the game.
