    It has nothing to do with gambling, he issued licenses to a bunch of illegals so they could work on the backstretch. This probably isn't uncommon at other horse tracks.

    All part of the culture. I love thoroughbred horse racing. The File Clerk, when he was Hoss Moderator, would often comment on the dark side of the industry. Those were the days, eh Gold? Akin to be busted from Sgt. Major to Private, f'n travesty.
