I know I am. Let me start out by saying I have a firm belief in karma and it’s existence. Tom Brady has by far and away made me more $$ than any other athlete on the planet. Everytime I back the guy he covers. Everytime I fade him he loses. Back to the karma thing though, how many stories have we heard over the years about a teams communication devices such as the headsets on the sidelines or the stuff inside the QBs helmet having a malfunction? Visiting locker room potentially bugged FBI style? He deflated footballs which, btw as a Colts fan at heart I absolutely laid the 7.5 with New England that day and it wouldn’t of mattered if the footballs were overinflated or under inflated Colts stood no chance. Anyway there is no doubt in my mind that when the schedule was released Belichick immediately got to work. Guy knows he doesn’t have a Super Bowl caliber offense and I have a feeling he’d be ok going 1-16 this year as long as that one win is against Tom. Not sure if Pats win this game but there is no way in hell they don’t cover IMO.

Remember after the Pats got blitzed on Monday night and that beat writer asked him about a potential QB change? Remember his reaction? How quickly his brain processed the impact of that question? He knew within a fraction of a second that the question was going to get Tom going and the team back on track. That little half smirk, I’m fairly certain made an appearance when saw the schedule for this season and saw that Bruce Aryans was coming into his house with his QB and gonna try to win a game.

I would think Brady would have a better idea as to how to attack a Pats defense than Bellichek would against the Bucs.

That said, I have no idea right now on this game. Line is 6/6.5. Really interested to see where the public and movement is on this game. I imagine it would be on the favorite Brady. But we'll see. Tampa right now is not where they were at the end of last season. Just like last season they were just OK early, but laid some duds. I doubt I could lay 6.5 on the road here. I will probably agree with you on the Pats, although they're not that good either.

I’m certain the feeling is mutual. Major difference is though is Tom got to go on and win a Super Bowl with another team the year following his departure and I’m sure that did a lot. Not like Tom sat around during the off season in the same sense Belichick had to. Plus nobody including Tom knows exactly how he is going to feel when he departs the visitors locker room and steps onto the field in Gillette Stadium as the visitor. Also, he got to win a lot of games up there as a result of cheating, look I really don’t care and don’t think it tarnished his legacy at all. I think karma will be in the field Sunday night, and it won’t be wearing Buccaneers gear.

I guarantee they are going to have one hell of a game plan on defense, McDaniel probably at the facility with the defensive staff as we speak going over tendencies, strengths and weaknesses that no other staff in the league has, not even Tampa. I had the Cowboys at +6.5 and +9.5 ended up being available opening night but guess what? It didn’t matter. Believe it or not some people have success in different ways. There are guys that strictly win by constantly getting the best # available and they are very successful at it. That is not my strength. My strength is handicapping the game not the spread. I’m not an odds maker and trying to predict where the market will go is not something I am good at. I sit at 21-8-2 on the season in football all posted. I’m good at what I do the way I do it. If I start obsessing about the very best number possible I will start to lose focus and as a result will lose bets by capping the spread not the game. Again, that’s not how everyone does it but that is how I do it.

NE is a really bad team and it has nothing to do with Tom Brady not being there. Ignore who's at QB and coach for both teams and it's pretty clear Tampa has better players at key positions up and down the board.
