    Brad Stevens

If the Boston celtics get knocked out by the nets in the playoffs which is highly likely considering the nets are 3-1 up in series, do you think Boston look for a new coach during off season because it looks like they are not progressing much with Stevens in charge after so many years.

Can't expect too much from him after they lost Brown and Walker been hurt too

But losing to Miami last year was bad

The Celtics are down in the first half all the time. That is a Brad Stevens problem. Brad has the X's and O's but obviously is not a good motivator.

When he has a full stable he hasn't gotten them over the hump either.

He had the players' ears when they were younger. Now some of them are superstars, and too big for their britches. Celtics need a coach who can handle veterans now. Stevens needs to coach college kids.

I think Brad Stevens is an all around good coach. I thought Ainge admitted he screwed up on a few moves. Already took the blame?

    Give Mark Jackson a shot.

Smart, local boy enough Big East boy from NYC.
Not just smart, basketball smart, a former player today's guys can relate to.

Makes sense to me unless Boston either keeps what they got or recycle some former NBA head coaching reject.

Oh not that it matters but it does matter Mark Jackson is a person of color.
It'll make the Lebron's and Sharpy Sharpton's of the world happy.

    Me?
I'd love to see Mark Jackson get a shot.

He knows the game... but when he couldn't move Golden State that one year... that's all I needed to know about him. Way too much fu#$ing talent... and they couldn't move on.

Boston was on cruise control this year. Anyone probably could have led them to 10 games out of winning the division. I’m not sure that Brad gets them back to an elite level(conference championship games) or if its just time to blow the whole thing up.

Ainge admitted that he screwed up to keep from firing Brad Stevens. Ainge is responsible for the roster and coaches. Brown and Tatum were the only players that Boston had the performed on a consistently high level.

That would matter if it counted for something. Being a handsome coach doesn’t win any more games.

Marcus Smart needs to go, makes terrible decisions in crunch time. He thinks he's the number 1 option.

I don’t know what role Smart needs to play on the team but I know they never recovered after he went out with that injury around mid season

Never been a fan of Smart, terrible shooter at the worst times. He does play with intensity and he cares about winning, which many players making millions don't.

Blow it up. Only players that would be safe are Tatum and Brown.

Needs to go get some proactive or go see a dermatologist. I bet when opposing teams play the Celtics they get breakouts if they touch their face after touching the ball after he has touched it.
