Things are setting up nicely for the Mavericks. Going to get Murray-less Nuggets in the first round. Then Jazz. Looks like a deep run to me.

Jazz too good I just think they should of made a trade get more depth but top 7 guys so good. Clippers probably win it all though less pressure this year and shooting so well.

Boston miss Kanter. No paint scoring big for them this season and it has thrown them off. Should have gone that bit extra for Vucevic at the deadline. Miami are just old. Dragic was superb for them last season but father time got him.

Just can’t root for a team with Lebron. That guy completely ruined the NBA for me. It’s a shame bc I used to LOVE the NBA and now can’t watch it anymore. I will look at standings occasionally. Lakers were my fave team with Kobe. Now I hate their guts.

    Same, except for not watching.

Unfortunately I think the Lakers can do good if healthy, but I still have Portland winning the west and Brooklyn winning it all.

Clippers probably the best team in the West overall.

OK I take back what I said of the HEAT. They just made Embiid look like Boban.

Nets meanwhile looking to flip the switch with their microwave roster... can't take any of these East teams too seriously.

Oladipo is out though, I thought he was going to come back. Celtics obviously no shot without Jaylen Brown.

Oladipo was damaged goods anyway. HEAT have plenty of depth on the perimeter. Centre is their soft spot. Dedmon is a bum.

Dedmon has been playing outstanding off the bench for them since he arrived.

So Clippers deliberately lost to the worst team in the league previously, because they don't want to face the Lakers in the 2nd round. Probably going to have to lose again if they want to avoid that 3-7 matchup. They face the Thunder...

    How low will they stoop?

    If:
Clippers are the No. 4 seed,
Mavericks are the No. 5 seed,
Ibaka isn't back in the lineup for the Clippers,
Doncic and Porzingis are in good health,

    Then:
Clippers could get eliminated in the 1st round and wouldn't even get to play the Lakers.

No one talking about portland. Sucks they may have to face the clips in round 1. If they end up playing them and beating them, Portland will win the west. +3600 to win the west.

They're +6600 to win the west? No, that's to win it all.

I got them winning the west for +3600.

Sitting out their top guys again. That's fair enough. But as a supposed title contender they ought to beat a GLeague team with their role players ...unless they're trying to lose

Because Ty Lou knows that Portland is way better than Dallas. He's trying his best to lose. Dallas is a cakewalk for the Clippers. I took a bunch of underdogs in the late games. Chicago, Minnesota, Thunder.

Thunder 23-10 7mins in. Rockets, whom the Clippers lost to previously, just got creamed 95-124 by a Hawks team resting most of their main guys -and nothing to play for.

No they won't. Mavs can only beat one team in the west, and that's denver. They're easily the worst team in the west playoffs. I don't see them even beating the wolves tonight in a must win game.
