Mark my words fellas, unless Scam Newton plays next week these 2 nitwits about to get the Kaepernick treatment. No team will ever sign them again not even as a backup. Jameis Winston not too far behind, possibly 2 or 3 years until his day of reckoning. After his rookie season he came out and led the league in yards per pass and everyone saw God walking on water. He had that No.1 pass ranking because they were not a good team and he had to get them out of long yardage situations.
He is a prime example of a person that has so much talent that they no longer think they need to work hard.

Newton a shell of the former guy... he was top tier for a pretty good stretch from college to pros. Heisman and MVP and on to the Super Bowl. I think he should walk away but that decision might be made for him.
Kap was on the slide anyway and all the kneeling and social stuff nail in coffin. Probably still better than many backups but that’s not gonna happen.
It’s all about the talent and results being greater than the headaches. So far, no thanks on all but there are some desperate ass teams. I’d take Winston for sure. Hell, 25% of the league has worse QB’s still. He threw 30 picks last year but also 33 TD’s and over 5,000 yards.

Backup QBs suck. Haskins and Winston will be around a while. Some of these guys figure things out eventually. They are worth keeping around.
Newton was an extreme athlete that is older now. He will not be a backup because it is not worth it to him. He either gets paid or he doesn't play.

Pretty sure Kap'd is the right term cuz Kap. is still trying to get back in the league if someone would give him a shot but he's getting essentially blackballed cuz he's not worth the trouble. This happens all the time to guys that get rushed. They forget how young they are and then somebody else picks them up for nothing and gets an All-Star.
Haskins will probably not be an all-star but it is hard to find a guy that can come off the bench and throw for 300 yards. Same with Winston. If they get hot, they are actually an improvement.
