    4th ref is useless in soccer anyway. 4th ref is the ref in out of the field. he controls backup balls, checks player changes etc.

    Appereantly the 4th ref wanted to give some guy on the bench a yellow card for some violation. When the ref asked the 4th ref who committed the violation, the 4th ref replied:

    "The black one over there. Go and check who he is"

    At least thats what I read on Twitter.

    The remarks were not aimed at a player but towards someone from Istanbuls staff.
