Herbert, Josh Allen, and Mahomes are the future. I think the days of pure pocket passers is over. Kind of like centers in the NBA. They'll be some, but you need that mobility to open up the playbook.

Didn't bet on this game. Feels weird and boring to watch it with no action.

Herbert!! Wow!! I liked him, but didnt think he'd look this comfortable this fast! I didn't think Josh Allen would make it at all. QBs are a bitch to evaluate. So much depends on the system and their coaching. How much they handle the money and the pressure mentally

i was telling everyone Brees was washed up, but he played well last week. Jeez? How did the 49ers and Saints get so shitty so fast? I know SF has injuries, but cmon?

Brees stayed one year too long. This is painful to watch at this point and I don't know that they should let him start the second half. At this point I'd go with Jameis Winston because honestly your offense needs a jolt and Brees is struggling.

They were up 24-7 last week and Herbert made a bad handoff inside the 10 when they could've just taken 2 knees and ran out the clock. 24-14 at half and I hit Tampa immediately. Changed all the momentum

Lynn should've called timeout when Brees hit the pass inside the 10. They'd have :36 sec left and 1 timeout. Chance to maybe get a fg if you can hit something. You only get so many possessions in an NFL game. Thats what gets alot of these guys fired. Its an underrated factor. Chuck Pagano with the Colts had a good record since Luck started him off 12-4 or whatever, but he sucked at managing the clock

If NO wants any chance they need to change a game plan that works. Stop this Hill shit! Don't they get the know what your doing. The early play with Kamara could of hit it. Besides that nothing from him.

Could run the option with Hill or pass off of it, but lately he's just running the ball high school style?

You're probably not old enough to remember the 80s Celtics, but you couldn't run Bird 6'9, McHale 6'11, and Parish 7' out there together today. Guys would be blowing by and shooting wide open 3s like practice. Games change and times change

At this point he might be better then Bress. In the end I will still want Bress passing.

3rd/14 and the coach thinks they're better off with a 2 yd pass to Kamara. Tells you what he thinks of Brees. Its over. Michael Thomas will help, but they're not a threat to Rodgers or Wilson. The Rams are balling too

If the Saints win then I'd look back to the Chargers last drive 1st half and first drive this half. Both times they set up in a tight I-formation and ran the ball for nothing on 1st/2nd down and left a rookie QB in 3rd/long.

Thats why Belechik is so great. If they can't run then they don't run. Just throw short passes instead. Herbert was hot so go shotgun and let him pick them apart. You can always run out of that or mix it up, but why give the Saints some hope?

Were the Saints really contenders anyway? Even with Michael Thomas they are slightly above average, just because the rest of the league sucks even more.

Seattle looked very good but their defense is literally non existing. Shockingly terrible.
