USA has the lowest amount of COVID deaths since the first half of March

For the week ending 6/27/2020, there were a whopping 229 deaths. That is the lowest weekly amount since the week ending 3/14/2020, and down from a peak of over 15,000 dead in one week in April.

The CDC waits until all the t's are crossed and i's dotted and actual death certificates are filled out and filed ect. And it takes time, since they are getting information from all over the country, and some overloaded busy hospitals and some quiet slow back water county hospitals. They need to be extra meticulous and tabulate correctly, so this good.

So they have a lag of 1-2 weeks. It says it right on their site.

"Death counts for earlier weeks are continually revised and may increase or decrease as new and updated death certificate data are received from the states by NCHS. COVID-19 death counts shown here may differ from other published sources, as data currently are lagged by an average of 1–2 weeks."



so when we check back in Mid July

The non us states have decreased by about 62% of the peak. So the numbers are correct. But your analysis of it is not quite correct
