To some people going to games is a priority. That's why they buy season tickets.
How many are at Lowe’s though? 100 at most at a time leaving at different intervals. We wouldn’t be having this discussion if we were talking about 100. It’s 50k all entering around the same time and leaving at the same time, done taking public transportation. It’s just a whole other level

It doesn't matter how many. There are thousands of those stores in the country. Add it all up. If it was such a big danger they would be spreading it everywhere. It would multiply like wildfire. It's not happening though.

Cannot have people in stands sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers in football stadiums in calendar year 2020.

    Simply not happening this Fall
    No chance. None.

Maximum capacity will be 30% or so of stadium seating when the season begins if it is calendar year 2020.

    Fact.

College football fanatic since I was 10 yrs old circa 1985. Absolutely love the sport. But let's be real - tremendous liability with 85 players on a team let alone 75 to 100K packed in like sardines in a football.stadium just mos after a pandemic began and with no proven effective vaccine.

It's not happening. It's not even a question.

Correct. I’m not sure they will have a college football season. I hope but if they do it will be without fans or 20 percent stadium capacity.

I believe most of the power 5 schools will play but like you said reduced crowd capacity intentionally.

Football with no fans will just look like scrimmage games regardless of teams

    It will be real bad

there will some fans allowed in such as family members and perhaps close friends (girlfriends etc) of the players but beyond that it is anyone's guess.

family members will be allowed to sit together but i do not see a snowball's chance in hell that strangers are allowed to sit shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow for 4 hours inside a football stadium this fall or early winter.

i am sticking with max 30% capacity allowed in college football stadiums with adequate spacing between groups of people. they will be like mini-bubbles of people here, mini bubbles there, etc.

maybe tix get sold in groups of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc, and then those mini bubbles get placed at various spots around the stadium. only the hold of those ticket groups can decide who sits with them and who does not.

anything less than 6 feet (perhaps 4 seats) space between groups will be very surprising.

good luck trying to figure it out logistically. ohio state is already doing it (20-25% capacity) so maybe they are the model that gets used.

decisions need to be made by 6/15 or latest 7/1 for logistical purposes. as college presidents and AD's they cannot be making these huge decisions in late July, it will be too late. if the decisions cannot be made by then or Aug, then you are looking at a season that will not start prior to 10/1

It will move rapidly if infected people are placed side by side in stadiums. The powers that be know this and fans will not run back into stadiums

Sure Laker. this South Korean team made a public statement they didn't know what they packed their stands with, but the fining board said 'by your own personal experience you knew what they were" fined them 82k. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fox...-sex-dolls.amp

No one is filling stadiums any time soon. A filled arena could infect the whole state when fans go back to their towns. The bathroom lines could be miles long with social distancing.

Yes. They are planning on having full stadiums with backup plans for less capacity.

I know you want this thing to drag on forever. Just admit you are hoping for this to never end.

It’s best case scenario. Which is not gonna happen. Everybody with a 4th grade education realizes we are not gonna have packed stadiums this year.

I don’t want this to go on forever.....id rather not have the virus spread and more deaths though. Can you understand that?
