    Obvious panic move by the NCAA. They were facing millions in losses of coaching and AD salaries and needed a reason to lock up players for the season to play an amateur sport. Make them pros and the problem is solved.

    Many college players will now be taking a huge pay cut to play in the NFL and NCAA. Never imagined COVID-19 would kill the NCAA. Only the first to fall.

    The NCAA totally screwed this up. Now the players will have AGENTS and negotiating power. If they had just payed them $50,000, they would be a lot better off. The players are going to take it all eventually.

    This story is actually a little overblown looking at the details. It looks like the NCAA is pretending they are for this and know that Congress will shoot it down. Obviously a lot of propaganda here with them hunkered down from the virus and putting this out.

    But they've got California on the verge of pulling their schools out of the NCAA and forming their own league so they are in some deep water.
