    Can it be this easy?

I have tracked 474 games. The matches have been a mix of NBA, Premier League, and the top four soccer leagues in the world. I track 7 teams in the NBA ,six teams in the Premier League, and eight teams in the big four. I simply keep track of whether the team covered the spread or not. So I noticed a trend in the Premier league that when a team covered the spread twice in a row the third game they normally did not cover. This trend has continued throughout 474 games cross sport and league. The only caveat is that out of 474 games the record is 32-14. That is only 46 chances to bet out of 474 games or roughly one in ten. Is this sample size meaningless? Is there any value left in this trend going forward? Could it be this easy?

    174 Premier league games (9-1)
126 Big four (La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1) (9-4)
    174 Nba games (14-9)

Heard that. See if it holds for part of the MLS season.
