blackie this is a great idea.. i also think you should consider doing maybe an interactive video or flash presentation for the site that walks a newbie through what an exchange is and how it works.. there are a lot of big time players.. old school types that don't even know what that shit is.. but have the $$$ and would love to lay more favorable lines on their sides.. even me i am young and into the web and this thing that we do and i still don't 100% understand it..

thats my two cents.. just make sure the site is clean and people will come.. u guys got a good rep and we US guys want an exchange that's easy to walk in and out.. Matchy is a pain in the ass and one of the only reasons why i haven't gone there yet.. With your atm card system matched with the exchange.. it can get silly quick...

The idea is to set it up like a true open out cry exchange allowing members to place wagers online or call them in over the phone. Very basic trading platform. Easy to use and get in and out of. Don't want to give away to much of my game plan but I think it's something we can pull off and traders will like.

Well JJ, if the people who are using it have input to make it better, instead of getting some webmaster who doesn't know a parlay from a teaser doing the architecture, it can only be good.

It will be very difficult to surpass Matchbook and all it has to offer as an exchange.

Very difficult

The one thing Blackie will have going for him is he will promote the hell out of the venture...........whereas MB does little to promote their product.

If Blackie can get near Matchbook's liquidity, he will blow them away on Customer Service and Promos. I feel very confident about that.

I'll believe "it" (high liquidity) when I see it. Customer service important but overall gravy to an exchange, as Matchbook pays out fast too. (Although I'll be the first to admit the roll-over/s and especially their definition of "pass-through" can be absurd.)

Hopefully this exchange can bring in a different demo of customers that don't play at Matchbook.

Of the two I like Make Your Market better. xmarketsxchange doesn't roll of the tongue very well and I think a lot of people would mistype the url as exchange.

You gotta have a name that is easy to remember and type. I understand Black Market won't work because of the negative connotation, but makeyourmarket.com isn't bad...... or how about sportsxchange.com or something along those lines?
