    Why is Davis still on this roster?

    Team should fill spot w kid that has a future

    Surprised no team took a flyer on Davis as a bat off the bench....seems a team like St Louis or SD that could use a bopper off the bench late innings should have scooped him up w Balt paying that contract

    That was one of the worst youtube videos I've ever seen. The first 15 seconds is a phone case ad, then 25 seconds of Davis being weakly held back from whoever he was mad at and finishing with 20 seconds of showing a subscribe button.

    He's got a good agent.
    Davis signed a seven year contract in 2016 for 161 million dollars.
    Then Baltimore threw in the Bobby Bonilla clause and deferred 42 million dollar from 2032-2037 which means Davis will be collecting checks for the next 18 years.

    Because no team in their right mind is paying Davis 23 million dollars for the next seven years.
    He finished 2018 by going 0 for 19, started 2019 going 0 for 29.
    0 for 48 is a MLB record by a position player for most AB's not getting a hit.

    .267 on base percentage (that's just wrong) with 9 homers (in 246 at bats with 110 of those at bats being a strike out)
