That Game May Have Been Fixed

I didn't bet it, but 2 missed layups in final 3 possessions. Think this one was scripted.

Go ahead....Say they ALL are....but this one was a little different.

If it was fixed he would have made bad passes to the other team for easy layouts on the break.

Maybe not fixed but I just think Curry doesn't really care to win this year so Durant gets all the glory again.

Almost impossible for him to miss 2 layups with no one within 10 feet of him.

Steph has a net worth over $100,000,000

Guarantee you he fixed that game for a cool $10,000

But he waited until OT, smart dude

Weakest type of post one can make on this topic.

The reasoning makes no sense because the premise doesn’t lead to the conclusion.

Why bring up a 50k gym bag when you already acknowledged he got paid millions?

You don’t think millions are enough to do your job?

You think it takes a 50k gym bag to push him over the edge?

And what risk are you talking about?

The player gets paid to do a job and nobody offers a promise to, nor is anybody obligated to provide a “fair” matchup.

    It’s entertainment.

See my last post and remember that if a player doesn’t do his job, they’ll find one that gladly will just for the chance at endorsements.

I agree. Seems like the NBA wanted Houston to win. Wasn't that a charge on Harden at the end?

The number was arbitrary, there would would be no amount worth it to Curry to throw the game. Dude is risking his job which is $38,000,000/year before endorsements

I don’t disagree with him, was just making the point that there is no amount of money that a guy like Curry could be offered that would entice him to potentially risk a $38,000,000/year salary....

When do you ever see Curry and Thompson not try to foul at the ending of a game? Those 2 never give up.

Clearly these players know the game plan, what to do, and when to do it.

    NBA = WWE

    sigh.

Why can't you guys make the simple jump?

That's not what I'm saying at all Kracken.

And again with the risking the money.

They get paid to do a job. There is no risk in doing that job. If they don't do that job someone else will, and make that money.

Why do you guys insist that there has to be some other source of money? They get paid already to do a job. They get paid millions, tens of millions. If they do it, they have nothing at risk or to lose.

Read my post above again, I can't make it any more clear yet you got it completely wrong.

    sigh.

Gordon was 50% from 3. Shump (lmao) was like 60%.

    Curry shot like trash.

This won’t happen again for 3 of the next 4 games.

No, what KVB is saying is that throwing a game is in fact part of the job you are asserting he may lose. The millions of dollars in endorsements are what ensures that the player knows his role and is willing to carry it out when called upon, not the hypothetical cash in a bag.
