    There’s nothing like the buzz of opening morning though, Thursday 9am tip-off, so much action, so much energy. The viewing parties are good with free booze and private betting windows, went to the Hard Rock one several years ago and had a blast, even met up with and took some shots with Booya!

    Agreed Dom. Was there 2 years ago and a blast. Gonna try AC this year to see how it compares but hoping for Vegas 1st week in June.

    I've gone out there for the opening round of March Madness (I have a good friend who lives there, so I stay with him)... good times and much money made thanks to him!

    Will be going on 3/20 this year.

    Personally, unless you’re already rich, I don’t understand why you would enter such supercontests. The edge of the sharps will defeat many, and most importantly, the government takes 25% in taxes of 5k+ wins or more. If Westgate keeps some, it’s even worse. Lottery tickets pay back 50-65% so already the contest is like buying a lottery ticket.

    I do not like donating 25%-40% of an entry to a corporation / government. From an EV outlook, no thanks and overcoming that edge, in the long run, is impossible.

    I’ll be there last week of April. Dead time of year for sports but going to get to see Bruno Mars, Sarah McLachlan and comedian Steven Wright. Looking forward to a nice long weekend with my girl.

    Yes, because of winnings being taxed at income AND that there's no possible way not to declare, the math doesn't work out --- at all. I think the starbucks barista types are just trying to lotto it like you said and hope they win the 1 million dollar payout; funny they give back 40+% to the shitty central gov't
