#6Lots of folks love going for March Madness, but I always recommend the 2 weeks of COnference Tournaments. Way more basketball to bet on, way fewer crowds and lineups.Originally posted by clockwise1965Going for March madness sweet 16.Comment -

#7There’s nothing like the buzz of opening morning though, Thursday 9am tip-off, so much action, so much energy. The viewing parties are good with free booze and private betting windows, went to the Hard Rock one several years ago and had a blast, even met up with and took some shots with Booya!Originally posted by Regul8erLots of folks love going for March Madness, but I always recommend the 2 weeks of COnference Tournaments. #8Agreed Dom. Was there 2 years ago and a blast. Gonna try AC this year to see how it compares but hoping for Vegas 1st week in June.Originally posted by DOM_TorettoThere’s nothing like the buzz of opening morning though, Thursday 9am tip-off, so much action, so much energy. #17Personally, unless you’re already rich, I don’t understand why you would enter such supercontests. The edge of the sharps will defeat many, and most importantly, the government takes 25% in taxes of 5k+ wins or more. If Westgate keeps some, it’s even worse. Lottery tickets pay back 50-65% so already the contest is like buying a lottery ticket.Originally posted by Matt17Supercontest in August unless NJ holds one of equal value.
I do not like donating 25%-40% of an entry to a corporation / government. From an EV outlook, no thanks and overcoming that edge, in the long run, is impossible.Comment -

#18I’ll be there last week of April. Dead time of year for sports but going to get to see Bruno Mars, Sarah McLachlan and comedian Steven Wright. Looking forward to a nice long weekend with my girl.
First time staying at Aria too so looking forward to that as well.Comment -

#20Yes, because of winnings being taxed at income AND that there's no possible way not to declare, the math doesn't work out --- at all. I think the starbucks barista types are just trying to lotto it like you said and hope they win the 1 million dollar payout; funny they give back 40+% to the shitty central gov'tOriginally posted by eaglesfan371Personally, unless you’re already rich, I don’t understand why you would enter such supercontests. #22Wonder how it is for the homeless there. Thinking about a one way ticket there. Let people kick me in the balls for $20 or something. Panhandle until I go on a run.
