This is a great idea but will have to be strict with the invites. Forum should focus solely on beating the book and handicapping. NO attention seeking drama and trolls. This means 90% of members will not get invited. The real winners usually stay quite or post occasionally because they don't want to get caught up in the drama. It would be great to have a place for the real winners to get together and have civilized conversations about finding value to beat thebookie without having to put up with all the drama.

Can i have a subforum where i can only invite people i want to come in. If that is the case i would make effort to come online everyday and share info and get info from like minded individuals.

Hi Genie,

I received your PM, and while flattered. I'm going to pass on the offer to moderate your new safe space forum. I'm all for free speech and less censorship.

I'd also contend its not the spaces or topics that are ever a problem around here. Its a small but critical mass of insecure immature posters that put way too much emphasis on their SBR persona and thus get hurt feelings.

we are as a group going to have quite a few outcast degenerates among us. that's fine, we all have degeneracies to some degree. Most of us can put on our big girl and boy pants and take the forum for what it is, even when wacko nutjobs get hurt and get nasty.

for those of us with a modest amount of self esteem and perspective, it can actually be quite an interesting and humorous spectacle that can take the edge of a rough real life day, or a day of nail biting sweating out bets.

some of the classic Bateman tirades still make me chuckle.

its good for the soul to laugh at the snowflakes that get triggered and begin to unravel on the forum while they pound their keyboards away thinking MORE posts and MORE threads started will be the magic key to get everyone to realize how smart and right they are.


all while we laugh at them for a few minutes.
