Dodgers +140 Series and +130 in Game 1

I believe it’s finally the Dodgers time. They’ve come so close now for the past 5 years and had some really good squads but I think this is the first time you can really look at them and say they don’t have any real weaknesses. They’ve done an excellent job of blending youth with experience and now those young guys are good enough to carry the torch.

Fading Kershaw over the years has been profitable in October and I’ll admit I’ve had a lot of good laughs at his expense but I truly believe this time he will come through. He’s not as good as he was a few years ago but he’s been hardened by his failures. He seems to accept that he has to pitch to contact a bit more as he’s lost some velocity. While he might not be dominant, I predict he will outduel Sale in Game 1 and then win again when the series goes to Los Angeles.

    Dodgers Series Price +140 (4x)

    Dodgers (Game 1) +130 (3x)

The opening line did make me happy, even if it has moved up a little since. Game one is huge. I'd love to see them beat Sale and really put some pressure on Boston. I don't really fear anyone coming out of the Red Sox bullpen, unlike that Milwaukee series.

This is arguably the most important game in Kershaw career he knows this might be his last ride, who would you guess pitches game 3? Bueller? I’ll be at the game

Is Rich Hill really going to pitch game #2? What happened to Ryu?

I would assume Bueller in game three, yeah.

I can't understand why the dodgers are such a dog. Boston is definitely overpriced. This reminds me of a few years ago when the Mets trotted out 4 great pitchers vs a team that wanted to rebound after losing the year before and everyone thought the Mets would win. We know what happened

But Boston has 4 great pitchers(sale counts as 3 and the other 3 are 1) plus the dodgers are trying to rebound of a game 7 loss like the royals

Dodgers definitely win the series. Game 1 doesn’t matter much, Dodgers won game 1 last year. Might open dodgers up for better series price to bet if they can lose.

The NL is a complete scrub league - the Dodgers don't stand a chance. They wouldn't even be .500 team in the AL. Boston will kill them.

This series reminds me of the 1988 world series. The Athletics were the Super Team then, Unbeatable, Sure to win, everyone thought so. Then The Dodgers pitching shut them down.

Kirk Gibson is not walking through the door for the Dodgers. Let's see how Kershaw does in the cold.

So this entire play is based off what you "believe"? Come on T, boston is going to light them up game one. Those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.

I disagree, last year irrelevant. Dodgers play is double win game 1 and series. Kershaw is nails and/or Sale just can't come back and get it done and they are in great shape. If Sox lose tons of pressure on Price tomorrow and you know.

As much as I love the Dodgers I think they could get hammered in this game 1... Kershaw better pitch his assss off if they have a chance..

Dodgers didn't play much in Boston this season and I don't even think they know how to play the ball off the green monster... Sale is a stud pitcher for the Sox too...

I got no bet on this game yet but I might go against my heart and bet Boston in this game 1... Smart money I think has to be on Boston...

Always favor a NL team with a ace going to the American league park and getting the DH, the extra bat instead of the pitcher ALWAYS is a benefit for the NL team. I am shocked the Dodgers are such underdogs. The problem is you gotta beat Kershaw 3 times to win this series, this game IMO means nothing because the Dodgers 2-3-4 starters will be way better than the Sox. This is a huge game and I see a low scoring strike out game. For the odds, I would take the Dodgers.

That is a good point... Noted!!! Kershaw can just concentrate on pitching and not hitting also..

Series like was quite low...considering red sox destroyed houston and dodgers went 7 vs Milwaukee. Vegas usually right..I'll take dodgers in series....just based on odds.
