    Lions +230 is a gift from the football gods

    This is a straight joke. 49ers are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Lions lay an egg on Monday night and are probably itching for this game. Cross country trip or not, doesn't matter. Lions would play Tuesday if they could, that's how bad these guys want this taste out of their mouth.

    49ers literally have like 2 pro bowlers on their team. Lions are stacked with them. There's no way a team with Garrapolo who Patricia coached for years is gonna beat the Lions. Stafford will have a bounce back game. We all know how good he is.

    This is a classic case of a veteran team like the Lions coming into SF after a whooping and beating an up and coming team that is still full of youngins and rookies.

    Goaty I think I’m with you here. Jets D knowing all the plays is inexcusable but made the world of difference. And then it was like a snowball and got out of control. I was unfortunately at that MNF game (left after 3rd quarter).

    Lions either win win this one easily or it comes down to a FG either way. I’ll be on Lions +6 and ML.

    If they lose in San Fran, they have Patriots & Packers as 2 of the next 3 games, then Lions are looking like a 3-4 win team this season. I just can’t give into that just yet.

    This Lions team is a mess right now. Everyone locally is reporting how Patricia has already lost the team and it has looked like it all preseason and week 1. This wasn't one bad showing, they've looked AWFUL in every preseason game as well. Usually I like going the other way on week 1 overreaction line moves, but everything points to the Lions being truly bad. Now they're traveling to the west coast on a short week. Patricia had all off-season to prepare for that Jets game and they were incredibly unprepared. How do you think he does on a short week on the road against one of the better coaches in the league?

    The lions have zero pass rush, no pass rush last year, and 1 sack in 4 preseason games combined, the offensive line isn't stacked at all - which is why they can't run the ball.

    Lions o line was supposed to be much improved and on paper one of the better units in the league.

    It was only 1 week so the jury is still out but if the Jets knew what Jim Bob cooter was going to do on every play I can't see why the rest of the league wouldn't be able to figure it out as well

    doubt if patricia and garapolo ever even spoke when they were together. jimmy lit up patricia's defense in practice over and over which impressed bill enough that he wanted to trade brady and keep jimmy but kraft butted in. lions do not appear that interested in going all out for their new coach which many have said they loathe. making pro's run punishment laps is bush league. players ok with accepting constructive criticism if they make a mistake but lap punishment is for high school players.
