Which team was more of a disappointment , Michigan or Miami ?

a lot thought this was Michigan's year, and Jim Harbaugh would bring them to the top of the Big Ten

People need to lay off Michigan and Harbaugh BS. Its not like they were a 30pt favorite and lost. They went on the road to play a very good team and got beat. Plus their season o/u was 9 so everyone should have known there was going to be some "L"s this year.

I say Miami. Showed absolutely NO improvement in quarterback play! He’s still missing the same throws that he missed during last years bowl game. Big letdown for me fellows!

I would say Miami, I don't put a lot of stock in Michigan (In fact, F Michigan, right in the face hole). It's hard to be disappointed when you had no expectations to begin with.

Miami for sure! Michigan had new QB in a new offense for him, plus a true roady at ND. They were picked to finish in the middle of Big 10 East. Miami came in as a top 10 team, favored by a FG+, supposed to scare Clemson in the ACC, and were getting pummeled 33-3 before some late garbage scores. Canes huge disappointment!

Miami cause it was a neutral site.

Michigan road game and got smoked early but then it became the defensive battle we expected.

    Miami!

Michigan had lost 15 consecutive road games against ranked opponents coming into the season. It's almost become the expectation. The box score also ended "competitive" and the loss is to a better-ranked opponent (even if pre-season).

Miami on the other hand, was never competitive. LSU was by no means lights out, but embarrassed Miami. Problems in every facet of the game. It was ugly!

Miami. I remember the Richt days at UGA being worried about the SC game cause Richt would often find a way to blow it. There is a whole different feeling since Kirby's been around. Seeing Miami in these last few games shows that Richt is somewhat uninspiring to his guys. He's gonna be a 9/10 win guy his whole career and make hundreds of millions.

Michigan, I thought their offensive line would be better, but they struggled.

    Both teams laid an egg
    They both played good opponents
Michigan D kept it respectable but got beat on some big plays
    Miami D looked terrible
    Both offenses looked hideous

So now Harbaugh has gone from a genius turning Michigan into playoff contenders to a team with mediocre expectations???

    Interesting

Michigan for sure. Everyone knew Miami’s offense was suspect. Expected a lot more out of Michigan. Both teams have SERIOUS QB issues that should have been fixed during the off-season

Michigan, so much hype over Harbaugh and no doubt he can recruit. Just isn’t able to put together an explosive offense to save his life. Too bad, wanted to see him succeed

    Miami hands down

At no point was Miami outplaying LSU

    Miami horrible mental errors

And surprisingly none has criticized Miami for a true freshman kicker who in his SR of high school was 4 of 10 in FGs. How are you going to win a national title with a 40% HS kicker? Just not prepared

Michigan outplayed ND the 2nd half and much of the 1st half

ND is a legit top 6 team
LSU is always 3rd or 4th best in SEC

Still a PO contender. It's one game and last time I checked MSU and Penn St didn't look impressive either.

Not a QB problem, it's an offensive line problem.

How much you wanna bet they are a top 10 team at the end of the season? Most teams are going to struggle containing Wimbush.

Hard to tell how good ND is

Kelly can easily screw things up, like throwing the ball and stopping the clock on 3rd and long with 5 minutes left at midfield against a team that would have a hard time scoring with no defense on the field, up by 14 pts

Then Michigan has no sense of urgency when they get the ball

Those things don't happen with the top 4 teams

Neither. I wasn’t optimistic about either team heading into season.

The fact that Michigan was relying so much on a shitty transfer qb to lead them is comical.
