Beginning of the end for Jim Harbaugh

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Jim Harbaugh was hired, at great cost and with towering fanfare, to bring back the bygone days of Michigan football.

He’s done it. Just not the way anyone envisioned.

After the latest offensive debacle — another Harbaughcle, if you will — the Wolverines have their first four-game losing streak since the Rich Rodriguez Era and the 2009 season. Nobody in maize and blue has ever wanted to put Harbaugh and Rich-Rod in the same sentence, yet here we are.

You might have thought Brady Hoke Era was bad, and you’d be right — but at least Hoke never lost four in a row. Harbaugh now has.

His issue was the media and everyone else saying how they are so much more talented than ND. That just isn't true at all. Yes, Gary is probably the best player on the field in almost every game, but ND has multiple NFL players on the roster too. Plus, everyone thought Shea was going to light up the world. He was a below average QB before transferring. Racked up all his stats against bad teams.

If they played again Michigan is -4, I watch that game again this morning fast Notre Dame had a few fluke plays Michigan played so-so. I think Michigan will win 28 to 10 if they played again

    I agree JJ

I took ND ML at kickoff but jumped all over Mich +650 live in the 3rd

Really thought they'd pull it out based on play

Just couldn't get the turnover they needed

Maybe 10-3. That offense is about as embarrassing as it gets. I don't know what game you were watching but the only fluke play I saw was the only td Michigan scored until the final 2 minutes which was a 99 yard kick return. Other than that Michigan had zero chance.

The fact Michigan was even laying points in this game on the road in South Bend was completely insane

It is not the QB's that are the problem
It is the system, or lack of
His "pro style" offense is actually a basic high school scheme that NEVER tries to stretch the field vertically

His offenses prevented multiple Superbowl wins at SF and are now preventing Michigan from beating any good teams

His only talent at SF and Mich has been hiring great defensive coordinators

Maybe instead of traveling through Europe with your team you could use that time to implement an offense that isn't an embarrassment to the game

How can a team be down 14 pts with 5 minutes left and have no urgency on offense??

He is being exposed for the fraud he is

But it is all the players faults, right???

Michigan fans missing the Brady Hoke days? His teams were mediocre, but still outperformed Mr. Khaki

I think ND could do a lot better but I don't perceive Kelly being nearly as cocky as Harbaugh. I can't disagree that he's a clown.

By halftime the NBC announcers seemed embarrassed by all the pregame hype they were giving to Harbaugh. ND had some combo of better coaching and players. I was surprised myself.

Maybe if they played well and lost but they really just aren't a good team and a lot of it is because Harbaugh has no clue what he is doing

They will beat crap teams but I would be shocked if they beat a good team

If they can't run over people they are in big trouble on offense

But it is the untalented players that are the problem, right???

As a Michigan fan I'm pretty happy. However, the offense still needs a lot of work.

i guess you have never been blessed to meet kelly. He thinks he invented college football. Met asshat when he was trying to recruit a kid I sponsored (paid for his cleats and dues to play high school football) Dude lied to kid even though he knew he was going to notre dame.
