That's the thing though, they have a couple of prospects to spare. If they don't move them, they could end up losing them in the Rule 5 draft. Archer would raise attendance in San Diego. I hope the Padres resign Freddy Galvis but I know Tatis Jr. is on his way up.

Espn saying Dozier to the Dodgers is a done deal. Didn’t say what the Twins received in the trade.

I'm a huge Chris Archer mark. I don't think he's regressing. The issue with the Rays is that as soon as Kevin Kiermaier gets hurt (example: these past 2 seasons) team goes downhill. Like any other team the bullpen has blown leads I remember a game a while back where he was facing the Blue Jays and had a solid 6 or 7 innings and then the pen lost the game.

I am a Rays/Cubs fan (family in TB)...there is virtually nobody at the games other than the other team's fans usually

Ownership are cheap fukks but run a good farm system

    Bring the Rays to Indy

Say that to Roberto Osuna's face and see what happens. I remember a time in sports where players personal lives didn't intersect with sports.

Archer would not raise attendance. He is not an ace. He has good stuff but has really never put it together.

I agree about Galvis. I can't remember any other Padres SS in recent history that is as steady on defense...he makes all the plays he's supposed to make. I'm hoping Tatis agrees to play 3rd for a few years to make signing Galvis possible.

I'd be upset if I was a Pitt fan. Archer will probably perform better in the NL but they gave up a lot to get him.

understatement Jake...Meadows will be a star and Glasnow has time to figure it out and be a 1-3 starter

Archer to ME is garbage other than his K rate

I would attend every Chris Archer start. lol. I could probably see the Padres getting rid of Asuaje. He let a ball go right past him and then struck out with the bases loaded. Asuaje has lived up to his potential but he's still young. Padres are getting interesting.

I don't know what the Dodgers are doing. Dozier seems like overkill at this point. They have a surplus of hitting.

With Dozier playing second, that means one of these guys can't play: Bellinger, Kemp, Taylor, Puig.
