No Legal Sports Betting in New York in 2018

Not unless special session of state legislature is called.

There was no sports betting bill passed Wednesday night and legislature will not reconvene until January 2019.

Sounds like California won't be doing anything until at least 2020.

    Pathetic.

Is it no New Jersey schools OR no college games played in New Jersey?

Regardless, yes Jersey will have all other college games available.

Governor Cuomo has stated he doesn't want rushed legislation...wants to to pass something carefully studied and thought out.

Another thing- NJ should allow out of state play from states that have not specifically outlawed gambling.

I said it in Borgata 3 weeks ago. Every body thought they were getting it. And I said no there not. NJ will be huge and most in racebook said all are getting it. I said no way Jose ! So far 10 /12 in Games. Not huge bets. But a good start and I’m happy and have more money since it opened and happy regardless of lines. It’s here and I have 2 family north jersey and beach house at brigitine so I’m good to go . I was in awe when I saw 2 gentlemen play a 65000 bet on Houston and won But I told them they should of played a few tickets because of taxes over 10000 win. They said shit but now know . A lot of money coming in and it’s unbelievable turn around for Borgata and AC. Man it’s going to explode on the First Day of betting July 15th at Big M !!!!

The racetracks will not do a lot of business because not a big population around it except Meadowlands

AC will only be good NFL and again to hard to get too for most and costly

Meadowlands will be the hub of the usa for sports betting if NY does not get it and even if they do still will be a major volume spot

Charles Town in WV will have it no later than September 1st. Not sure where in VA you are but based on you talking about MD, DC I'm assuming you are in NoVA like me. 45 minutes or so out to Charles Town and it is a nice drive.... MD will have it also but not until 2020.

You do not see random roulette tables in new Jersey since Atlantic city has casinos

    OK?
