    Agree & have said it several times:

    *Legalization brings more interest to the hobby, thus more bettors.

    *More bettors brings more competition.

    *More competition brings the search from players for better deals such as bonuses, perks, free gifts like we used to see offshore

    Bottom line is new & existing bettors are going to find fantastic deals Offshore in the future.

    With legalization states will have to open portals again for players to fund & withdraw easily from accounts.

    Vegas has said for some time now they ate all for legalization & don't believe it will hurt them.

    Matter of fact they saw this coming & around 2-3yrs ago agreed & passed something giving them the availability to offer services online out of state in the future.

    I would like to see some of these books actually get a foothold in the US. IE pinnacle shops, or 5 dimes shops, etc. Let me walk down to the 5dimes corner store, deposit, and place my wagers from the website/app.

    I disagree; bettors are going find out what kind of scamming cockroaches (with a few exceptions) the offshore books are. After experiencing KYC, withheld bonuses, cancelled bets and payouts that take two weeks, bettors are going to head to the brick and mortars.

    Casual gambler isn’t going to care if he’s paying 5 cents more on a game.

    I’m sure a mobile app is in place as well. This was as good as gold as soon as The NFL went to Vegas.

    Laughable to think off shore has been planning for this. 5Dimes probably Sending Tony to Customer Service seminars as we speak.

    You keep pushing this theory, and it's dead wrong. You should see how much more people pay to buy crappy weed because they can run next door to buy it at a safe dispensary. This decision will kill overseas books shortly. The sketchiness of getting paid is not worth the 5 dollar lines to joe Bettor

    I agree with some of your points but I’ll always think KYC is a good thing for both gamblers and the book. And this is coming from someone who once started yelling -very very loudly- because my passport vs face was apparently not the same. I genuinely thought I was going to somehow kill a robot e-assistant!! If someone can’t pass KYC from a legit book or doesn’t even want to try to pass that only raises red flags on the bettor. 99% of us aren’t scammers so have nothing to worry about in order to access a very wide world out there gambling wise

    That's the best part about this if this law hits all the States IMO... Can wager large amounts daily and not get cut off and stiffed like online books.. Place and collect same day. Security of Las Vegas Casino betting can't be beat..

    Still most people including myself are not gonna wanna leg in bets daily to local sportsbooks when you have a dozen books online and can just hit a few buttons on your computer and place now...

    Now if the local sportsbooks set up internet availability then that's a different story..

    Vegas is terrible to bet sports compared to offshore

    Low limits
    Bad lines
    Bank Reports over 10k transactions

    JUST TERRIBLE

    In USA it will be a legal fee riddled mess

    Its not about the wagering part so to speak, its about the pain in the ass of getting money in and out of offshore. For those of us who have been doing this forever we dont think much of it, but most people are not going to go through the BTC,CC,P2P, etc issues when they can walk up and place a wager and get paid with ease. IMO this will hurt offshore sooner or later. We seem to forget we are not the mainstream people here, those are the guys who just want to bet on their home town team on weekends, and for them offshore isnt worth it.
