Yes, Trump and McConnell both gave support to Strange.

Moore had long been a local favorite, he was a jurist who openly defied Federal Court rulings on gay marriage and homosexual adoption.

You don't get political stuff? It was a ploy to make the established clowns like Ryan and McConnell think he is with them.

Voters want action man, and any incumbents who are up for election should be scared right now.

Obamacare failure to pass replacement, tax cuts still in balance....agenda stalled- this will hit home in congress

And now Trump deletes the tweet and puts up a new one. As if nobody would notice. Trying to delete and official presidential statement, which, by the way, is in violation of the Presidential Records Act.

If it was from the POTUS twitter account yes, not his personal Twitter account.

What do you base that on?

Because POTUS is a government twitter account where official statements are made and realdonaldtrump is his personal account.
    From the act:
"The term `Presidential recordsī means documentary materials, or any reasonably segregable portion thereof, created or received by the President, his immediate staff, or a unit or individual of the Executive Office of the President whose function is to advise and assist the President, in the course of conducting activities which relate to or have an effect upon the carrying out of the constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President."

Where is where is wishing a political candidate luck part of the constitutional, statutory, or ceremonial duties and where does that tweet carry out those duties?

What do you base your claim on that it violates the act?

Trump supported someone who was very loyal to him. You should be applauding that. I suspect you would in every other case so long as it wasn't trump.

Anyways, it was a win win for Trump either way.

The U.S. National Records and Archives Administration has said his tweets are official records subject to the Act. The content of his tweet is irrelevant. It could be archived and then deleted, so perhaps that's what they're doing. I just think it's funny how he deletes and puts up a new one like nobody would notice. That's what happens when you tweet on the shitter.

Why should I applaud that? Loyal to the constitution and the country, sure. Not that he had one of those choices in that race. Strange as it seems, Strange was the less crazy choice in that race. Moore is a complete wackadoodle.

"According to an agenda of the Feb. 2 briefing with White House officials, archives general counsel Gary M. Stern and John Laster, director of the agency’s presidential materials division, explained that the president and White House counsel were “solely responsible for managing presidential records.”The role of the archives, they added, is mostly advisory, but presidential records can only be disposed of after the White House consults the archivist in writing."

And can they cite where in the act his tweet is used to conduct his constitutional, statutory, or other official duties? If this went to court, I highly doubt this specific tweet would put him in hot water.

From the article, the statement sounds more like the Archives saying to the administration KYA and keep records of everything until we clear it (like accountants saying keep all of your receipts and business records). Not saying they keep copies of tweets is bad, but I don't see where this specific tweet would violate the act like you're claiming since I don't see where that tweet fits the requirement.
