I didn't watch the Indians side of the broadcast but I did watch the Twins pre-game - the game - and then they stayed on to see if the Angels would lose so they could have a clinching party. They absolutely did care a lot. Motivation wise - I just don't see it with Cleveland - all they have is the motivation for home field advantage. Which seems to be hard to get up for albeit important.
So, tonight with roughly the same motivation? What about scoreboard watching - i.e. the White Sox get a big lead. Twins bullpen all got in the game - let the Twins win tonight - use their bullpen and then JJ if you want to eat chalk - go for it!
