And by better I mean a lot better.

Oakland doesn't hit left handed pitchers well.
And by Oakland doesn't hit left handed pitching well I mean they stink at it.
And by stink at it I mean dead last in the American League with a .224
Oakland also is next to last in the American League in home runs hit off of left handed pitching.
A whopping 19 of them as a team, (Boston is dead last, which I had to fact check some more, but it's true, Sox have only 18 off of LH pitching, but the Sox hit for a very high average vs. LHP)
Here's another fun fact that you can apply while handicapping this game.
Twins are road warriors, they are 26 and 20 on the road. (they suck at home 23 and 31, they don't like Target for some reason)
Plus the intangibles can't be ignored. Oakland dugout is in a state of confusion right now.
Who's coming, who's going, is Alonso going to NY, where is Sonny Gray going, that sort of stuff, don't kid yourself, that's a distraction too.
I'm backing the Twinkies here, better offense, better pitching, solid road team, and a team that's still playing for a reason.
And the big reason why I like the Twinkies here is, it's the logical play, which means it loses.
